Ike Rhein is relating to people all over the world with new single “Just Like You”

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Ike Rhein is a nineteen year old Pop artist with a unique sound and bold lyricism. Though he is still so young, he already has a collection of strong skills and inspiring thoughts that seem to easily show through his music. A brilliant example of this is his latest single, a track called “Just Like You”. This new song seems to break down to the very core of what’s important in a relationship and shows Rhein’s audience that they are not alone in the things that they are going through.

Rhein’s music focuses on something truly amazing, connecting people through their experiences and their love of something that seems to transcend language and other barriers. “Music is a common language that people can relate to, even between countries and languages. Everyone can relate to music and being able to share that with people is part of what drives me to create it myself.” Rhein has a simply beautiful message and his hopes of connecting people through his music just adds the already amazing style and lyricism that he brings to the table, especially with songs as impressive as “Just Like You”.

The meaning of this song also truly  stands out in a gorgeous way. “No one is alone in their relationships. Everyone goes through hard times, or toxic relationships. Sometimes it’s hard to know if anyone else is feeling the same way, and this song just goes to show that a lot of people are going through things in their relationships.” His commitment to connecting to his fans’ experiences only adds to the amazing feeling of listening to this song.

Some of the other things that make “Just Like You” stand out as a Pop song are also some of the key things that make Rhein such a unique artist. With “Just Like You” already taking off, Rhein is hard at work, putting together more and more amazing music for his listeners to enjoy. Each of these new songs brings something exciting to his discography, further proving the versatility of this artist. “One of the songs has a more Pop driven, Club-like vibe, and another is a softer, more ballad-like piano kind of song with another artist on it as a feature.” His new tracks are sure to be just as beautiful and exciting to listen to as “Just Like You”, so be sure to keep an eye out for this brilliant young artist.

Chlo – Get It

Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Chlo offers upbeat, feel-good vibes on new EP ‘Make it Make Sense’

HOUSTON, TX – If there’s one word that describes Chloe Hargrove, it’s “entertainer.”

The fast-rising young artist originally from Kansas City, Missouri has been lighting up the Deep South for the past couple of years – creating a buzz with her unique sound and style – and now she’s ready to  drop her second EP “Make it Make Sense.” And if there’s one thing fans of her music can agree on, it’s that she is the ultimate entertainer.

“My gift is being able to entertain people,” said the artist who goes by the stage name Chlo. “I love making people laugh or bringing good music or anything entertainment-wise. I’m just entertaining … period. I’m fun to be around and just make people feel good, and that shows in my music.”

Her six-song project showcases that entertaining talent to full effect. Following two years after her first successful EP, “Make it Make Sense” showcases a variety of vibes against lyrics that explore self-motivation and the drive and ambition necessary to realize one’s dreams. In Chlo’s case, this pursuit of a successful music career is something she had to convince herself to invest in. Having worked in the corporate world for a few years, she longed to pursue music full-time, but it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that she decided to put her all into that endeavor and commit to the time and financial investment it would take to realize that dream.

“That’s what the title of this EP means – to do stuff with a purpose,” she said. “You have to know your purpose. I know I’m talented, and music is my passion and what I’m gifted with. I’m making it make sense and putting my best foot forward. I’m putting my all into every song and showing how versatile I can be. Every song is different, but every song is me.”

Chlo said who she is will shine bright through every song she creates, and at the end of the day she wants to be known for being 100 percent real with everything she does. She prides herself in making fun and catchy music, but she’s also quick to point out that she has bars and uses different flows across her various songs. Her biggest inspirations are Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake, and she credits them for motivating her to really focus on making good music that is also going to make people say, “Dang! This girl can write!” While some artists today adopt a persona or caricature, Chlo said every lyric and performance will be true to who she is – “goofy and crazy and funny.”

“I can be a bad bitch when I need to, but at the end of the day I’m goofy and I like to put a smile on people’s faces,” she said. “People will see that real personality and love me for that.”

The debut single from her new project is a song called “Gang With Me.” The upbeat vibe is a perfect pairing for lyrics that hype up the group of friends and family with whom she surrounds herself. The video even includes many of her friends and family – both from Houston and from her original hometown of Kansas City. She said it’s a song that’s all about “repping your people,” and as such should be relatable to a wide global audience.

Chlo said she’s excited for new audiences to discover her music, and that she plans on releasing even more music over the course of the next few months.

His latest hit single “Just Fly” is the kind of upbeat, nostalgic Pop vibe that is infectious in the best of ways. Max Barskih’s “Just Fly” is destined to become the hit single of 2021 and make him a household name in America.

Accompanied by a Woody Allen-esque video filmed at Boryspil International Airport, the single is one that perfectly showcases the impressive vocals and artistic talent of this global phenom. The critically acclaimed artist has won a number of awards for his music, including a number of MTV EMAs, Golden Gramophones and Top Hit Music Awards. His career has blossomed through becoming the most touring and most-played artist on radio stations across the Russian Federation, Ukraine, and the CIS countries.

Max embarks on a new era with “Just Fly,” while provoking an impeccable charm toward his new music. According to Max, his new character’s attitude is as close as possible to how he feels about life himself.

“In my opinion, there are a lot of negative emotions in music trends nowadays,” he said. “I decided to create my own world where every story has a happy ending. These days I am fascinated by the music of the 50s and 60s. ‘Just Fly’ is my positive mantra, and every sound in it was created to stimulate endorphins and set the mood for a flight of fantasy.”

As soon as listeners hear the opening bars of “Just Fly,” they’ll recognize the influences of 50s and 60s music on the song. It’s almost as if Max spent a day in the studio with Elvis Presley and the two of them brought to life a more modern-day take on that throwback sound. The fun Pop vibe is upbeat and full of joy, and the hook is definitely catchy. People all over the world will be playing this on repeat for years to come. And the colorful video is filled with energy and lends even more to that nostalgic, feel-good vibe.

Rosegold Rackz- Bandz

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo

Rose Gold Rackz continues string of hit singles with latest club banger ‘Bandz’

COLUMBUS, OH – Continuing his mission to bring back bars and “real rap,” Ohio’s Rose Gold Rackz has released yet another hit single. “Bandz” is an upbeat dance groove ready-made for the clubs. Featuring Columbus influencer Miss Raindrop, the song is all about empowering independent women and encouraging them to stick to their guns when it comes to their ambitions.

“She don’t need a man. She can get her own money,” Rose Gold said of the song. “In the video it’s kind of like a scenario or a girl dancing and she’s got online content – like an OnlyFans page – and she’s getting her money. She’s an entrepreneur and she’s getting her own money and she don’t need a guy. It’s a hyped up party song made for the clubs.”

While many people have had major struggles over the past year during the global pandemic, some people have taken advantage of opportunities that have presented themselves during this crazy time. Rose Gold Rackz from Columbus, Ohio, is one such opportunistic entrepreneur. Instead of lamenting his losses, this enterprising artist decided to start a handful of new endeavors. He opened a smoke shop – starting the business from the ground up with nothing – and turned it into a $100,000 profit by the end of the year. He also dove headfirst into creating new music, with successful singles that have helped him grow an ever-widening fanbase over the past year.

Rose Gold has been performing for over 20 years on the hip-hop scene. He has opened for artist such as Styles P, Kevin Gates, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Camron, The Jacka, Berner, Young Guns, Oschino and Sparks, just to name a few. He has also been a part of the “Big Heff Industry tour” in the Midwest and has performed in Tampa Mystics “Industry’s Most Wanted” tour, as well.

Since Rose Gold was a product of the 80s and 90s, his first major influences were Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, and Run DMC. But as he got older he grew toward more of a West Coast influence from artists such as E-40, Too-Short, N.W.A and various artists from Sacramento label AWOL Records.

Coming from the heart of the Midwest, Rackz has his own sound and style of music. Often, you will hear producers say “his voice is his own instrument.” Working with producers like The Local Astronauts, Shawty Fresh, D Ruff on the Beat, and Akrite on The Track, has given him a diverse selection and sound that is highly incomparable.

As he continues to expand his influence, Rose Gold said he has some new music set to release later this year that will feature collaborations with bigger names from New York and LA. He also already has planned a listening party for his new album “True Story” on Sept. 4.

Jalin – Goodlife

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo

Jalin Ames embraces the ‘Goodlife’ with new album

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Like a lot of artists who got their start at a young age, Jalin Ames found an undeniable escape through music. He quickly realized the power it had to weigh in on all aspects of his life and to carry him through each season.

As a collegiate athlete with a full-ride football scholarship, Ames was putting in the work, but was never satisfied with where his life was going. It was important to him to finish out those four years and earn his college degree, but when that time came, reality quickly snuck up on him.

While working a 9-to-5 sales job, Ames found himself constantly struggling to find his footing in the corporate world.

“I didn’t like what I was doing,” he said. “There was no creativity. It was not me being myself. So one day I was like, ‘Instead of working a job creating something for someone else, I’m gonna go ahead and try to make something for myself.’”

Ames walked away from the corporate world and pursued his true passion. He began writing songs and fine-tuning beats, and after almost a year of late night studio sessions, he had created 14 songs for his debut album. He hasn’t looked back since.

His most recent album, “Goodlife,” can be described as equal parts energetic and raw. It demonstrates stories that take you through a journey of deep transcendence, while contrasted with infectious beats and hooks that keep you coming back for more.

“This is the first step in my journey to the good life,” Ames said of the album. “It’s my freshman album. It’s the warmup or blueprint, or whatever you want to call it, for what’s going to come. It has a bunch of different vibes – night-time vibey tracks and hard-hitting, upbeat tracks. I think it shows the versatility I bring to the game and is a perfect reflection of how it allows me to connect with a new crowd.”

The first song from the project, “Goodlife,” shares its name with the album. It’s a chill, slow jam with a light, ethereal opening filled with chimes that sets a laid-back mood. Ames’ flow on this track has a nice sway to it, and his lines hit the beat just right.

Another track from the album, “Runnit,” has also been getting buzz from fans and industry insiders. Serving as a statement of his intentions to take the music industry by storm, the song demonstrates the hustle and ambition he has to be heard and to show people his craft.

As fans listen to Ames’ music, they’ll quickly be able to recognize the unique flow he brings to the industry. He’s an artist who utilizes different vocal affectations and knows how to complement his specific tone of voice in his music. But more than anything, listeners will finally be able to see him for who he is, as he embraces the Goodlife and rests squarely in the joy of making art.

Sloane Angell – Halston Takes A Trip

Blog, ME Blog, Music

Internationally known DJ launches recording career with hot debut single ‘Halston Takes a Trip’

LOS ANGELES, CA – Old-school Disco meets modern-era House music on the debut hit single from DJ-turned-recording-artist Sloane Angell. “Halston Takes a Trip” is a long, psyche-ish groove with hypnotic synth stabs and punchy drums that invite the listener to the dance floor and keep them there. It’s a fun track ready made for hanging out on the beach or enjoying a night out at the club. Roughly inspired by the Halston documentary on Netflix, the song is Angell’s attempt to make a desert rave song, albeit born from his love of the unique sounds and styles of the 70s.

“I love bringing a lot of really older sounds to the table,” Angell said. “I love Disco and the resurgence of Disco in House music. I’m trying to bring in samples and unique sounds from the 70s and some of that original Disco. That’s definitely true of this track. Ultimately I’d like to reference certain samples and sounds from different eras and incorporate them in all my songs. Mostly I’m interested in curating environments and moods. That’s what I’ve always sought after as a DJ. I have an eye for setting really specific energies in rooms or environments. Before, I used other people’s work to set those tones, but in the future I’d like to use more and more of my music to fine-tune even more moods I’m trying to create.”

After nearly a decade of serving as one of the go-to DJs of Los Angeles, Angell said he’s excited to be able to write and produce his own music. It’s an endeavor that he said allows him to have an even more tailored touch on the music that’s played in the environments he’s creating. But music isn’t the only artistic endeavor that he pursues on a daily basis.

Spending most of his days as a ceramicist – either making shapes on the pottery wheel, or loading a kiln, heated to a temperature that could ‘evaporate a body’ – he also dabbles in fashion, with his clothing line Mercer Market selling at cool boutiques across the USA. In the summertime he jets off to Montauk and holds down a summer residency at the Surf Lodge, in Los Angeles. He can often be found playing many a party, whether it be at Malibu Soho House or fancy houses in the hills. He’s been sought-after and coveted for the best parties in LA since he first landed on the West Coast from his native New York. He is essentially the go-to DJ for every SOHO house location every weekend, and through that experience he has developed a keen taste for ambient celebratory atmospheric tracks.

He is a man of many talents, and now that he’s writing and producing his own music he has become a man of many more.

KingDarius TheGreat – Hoop Dreams ft Busta Rhymes

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

KingDarius TheGreat Drops a Posse Cut “Hoop Dreams” With Uncle Wahab, Pancho The Great & Busta Rhymes

In an ever changing industry in terms of how consumers come across new music, also comes a new wave of how artists collaborate with one another based on popularity within any given market nationally, and internationally with emphasis on streaming and online digital presence.

That being said, it’s not a far fetched idea that the guy who created the first viral song in music in KingDarius TheGreat, shares a “Digital Alliance” with a rapper from Kuwait named Uncle Wahab, another rapper from from Fort Worth Texas who goes by Moon Rock Panch and  legendary recording artist Busta Rhymes, on one record together titled HOOP DREAMS for a collaboration that only seems possible in today’s Digital Streaming Era. Having that understanding, this song actually has a few highlights from a listening standpoint as well, which is always refreshing in a very saturated industry.

Largely in part due to the road to riches Chorus written and passionately delivered by King Darius The Great, who yet again displayed his value, vision, and professionalism in terms of song direction. HOOP DREAMS captures the familiar story of, make it in sports or make it in music with the added twist of possibly losing your true self along the journey, or maintaining a high level of self respect while simultaneously living your dream and giving back to your respective community.

The Legend himself BUSTA RHYMES kicks off the 90’s type hip hop driven production, and blesses our ears with a verse we can all love and appreciate because afterall…… It’s BUSTA RHYMES! followed by a very stellar verse from Kuwait artist Uncle Wahab where he boasts about life living as Royalty overseas, then finished off by a heavily streaming new comer Moon Rock Panch who added finishing touches with his topic related hoop references.

All in All, what can be learned here is, the big pool of artists in this new digital era are not only working, but they are reaching out to one another if value is present and major artists are starting to get involved as well. Odd Collaborations can make for great music sometimes, and in this case, that’s exactly what took place here!

Estella Dawn – Pretty

Blog, ME Blog, Music, Promo

New pop ballad from New Zealand singer Estella Dawn embraces body positivity

Denver, CO – It would be nice to feel great about yourself every day, but life can have a tendency to make you feel small and inadequate at times. This is especially true for people who use social media, these platforms are minefields of content that can make you compare your body and personality to the bodies and lives of seemingly “perfect” people online. In the words of Pop artist Estella Dawn, “It can be soul-crushing.”

“It can leave you feeling like all that you are isn’t enough,” said this singer-songwriter who originally hails from New Zealand. “That’s when you need someone to lift you up. You need kind words when you’re unable to speak them to yourself. You need reassurance when you’re feeling discouraged. You need a reminder that you’re a bad ass and that you should never shrink to make others comfortable, because you’re not ‘too much.’ You’re just enough.”

Estella reinforces those words on her latest hit single “Pretty,” which goes wide across all streaming platforms on Aug. 20. The song is a Pop Ballad that perfectly showcases this naturally gifted vocalist who at one point was a star on “New Zealand’s Got Talent.” The driving piano melody immediately sets the tone for the ballad, giving way to harmonies that display Estella’s sultry and soulful vocals. This is a new Pop Ballad that people need to pay attention to, not only because it introduces an artist who is poised to become an international superstar, but also because of the message behind the music.

“This song has nothing to do with aesthetics or being attractive,” Estella said. “In my opinion, that’s the least interesting thing about a person. But feeling confident, comfortable and empowered in your body is important. To me, that is true beauty.”

‘Pretty’ is the latest single from this young artist who has been steadily making a name for herself since moving to the US. Like many songwriters Estella has been writing, recording and releasing music from an early age. However it has been in the last 3 years that she has refined her craft and developed her own style that is clearly shown in the 13 singles she’s released since early 2020. These songs show a unique command of melodies, with a subtlety and range that are a personal and social exploration of life. They contain multiple layers – both vocally and musically. Soft and soothing but also sharp and gritty when needed. And with that maturity she has been compared to Adele, Billie Eilish, Pink and Hayley Williams.

As with any hard working musician this is just the beginning. Following “Pretty” she has another single titled “Cotton Candy” that she plans to release later this year. She is also currently in pre-production writing and arranging tracks to record and produce her first full-length album, this will be recorded in a Denver studio with a live band. Estella Dawn is one to watch out for.
