Sleeze The KingPin – Throw It Back

Industry Spotlight, Music, Promo, Videos

Rising from false murder accusation, Sleeze The Kingpin raps to tell his story and clear his name

JUNCTION CITY, KS – In 2019, Sleeze the Kingpin spent the first few months behind bars. Suspected for being connected to a murder which he had absolutely no involvement in, this man suffered tremendous losses because of the accusations and media storm. Instead of being defeated, Sleeze prevailed through the wrongful allegations. Shortly after his release, he started rapping because he has the voice and the story to tell.

Sleeze The Kingpin’s gritty, authentic street music is reminiscent of an older generation of Rap. The artist is genuine about everything he puts out, and street dudes relate to his message. But his stories are for everyone, including those who don’t actually live the street life like “the people who don’t wanna go to war but love watching war movies,” Sleeze said. “What I’ve been through and what I’ve put down in the music is for everybody. You can either relate to it or you love watching it from the safety of your own home.”

Sleeze’s latest single, “Love Bring You Back” has a sit back, ride out and vibe-feel. Featuring Fiend (From “No Limit”) and Lil Donald (“Do Better”), the track came together after Sleeze met Fiend at an Atlanta Top 20 event. Sleeze pulled together the artists to collaborate on his beat, first by convincing Fiend to add the verse, and then turning to Lil Donald for the hook. Released mid June and produced by Jay Wood, “Love Bring You Back” reminisces about lost love and reconciliation.

The previous single by Sleeze The Kingpin is a dance song called “Throw It Back” which he dropped earlier this year. A club banger, the track “goes hard in the club for the ladies to throw it back, like the song says” Sleeze asserted. Produced by his cousin, Slomeezy, “Throw It Back” features the talented Angel White from Dallas. Although he has only been rapping for a short time, listeners will witness the progress in Sleeze The Kingpin’s creativity in the string of singles he has released over the past year.

Sleeze’s next project is a music video for “Love Bring You Back.” He will travel back to Atlanta where he plans to coordinate filming with the other contributors on the song. He also has a few other projects in the works including some slow jams and the development of his very own record label, Pis Po Records.  The music label is being created to provide opportunities to other upcoming artists that need a way, despite Sleeze being a new artist himself.

Last year began with Sleeze contemplating his life. He thought about his time in the military and how his service enabled him to travel the world. He thought about the things he had done after his military service, and how he had become an entrepreneur who was especially proud of his restaurant. He was also a proud father who was very involved in the lives of his children. Being falsely accused of murder would have broken most, but Sleeze turned the negative experience into fire to light his way into a brighter future. An artist who launched his career only a few weeks after his release from jail, Sleeze is a natural-born storyteller who is admired for his clever wordplay and the way he spins his tales.

[Video] Jayanna ‘Die For You’

Videos

(Atlanta, GA) – Soulful songstress, Jayanna’s powerful new single “Die For You” brings to light the role that domestic violence plays in communities across the country and the need for everyone to find their own self love to move past any drama they may be going through.

Developing her love for music at the youthful age of 6, Jayanna sang wherever she could; family events, church, funerals, weddings, plays, and talent shows. However, by the time she turned 16, her calming reality began to take a turn, as she was put out of her mother’s house and forced to find her own way in life. This only deepened her passion for the musical arts as she found comfort in singing about the pain and challenges, she was enduring daily as a teenager fully dependent on herself for survival..

Over the next few years Jayanna was able to reorganize her life, find her voice, and make a name for herself as a passionate, independent artist in the Midwest. “Jayanna is a unique talent,” says Grammy-nominated Super-Producer Miykal Snoddy after hearing her music for the first time. “Her voice is very soulful and her lyrics display a wisdom beyond her years. When she sings, you can feel the emotion of the record and she has an innate ability to convey those feelings whether reflectively heartfelt or sassy and independent. She has the total package.”

Miykal loving what he heard from just that one single, reached out to Jayanna to begin working on her first album, and the rest is music history. Jayanna packed her bags, moved to Atlanta, and never looked back.

Versatile like no other, Jayanna’s sound has been compared to a cross between Rihanna’s Caribbean swagger, Beyonce’s female boss-style, and the soulful sounds of Amy Winehouse.

“Die For You” is the first single to be released from her album entitled “Mood Swings” and is available for streaming and downloads on https://www.jayannasings.com/ and across all platforms. Also check out “Die For You” official video via Jayanna Sings – Die For You.

Tabares24 – Drop It on Site

Industry Spotlight, Music, Promo, Videos

Miami native creates club bangers perfect for the end of social distancing

MIAMI, FL – If there’s one thing Tabares24 is known for, it’s making club bangers and good quality music. The fast-rising musician from Little Havana in Miami, Florida has been making a name for himself over the past few years with his hard-hitting tunes and his one-of-a-kind flow. His most recent single, “Drop It On Site” is yet another sure-to-be-hit.

Influenced by an eclectic melting pot of different music over the years – from Hip Hop to Rock to Bachata and Salsa – Tabares24 fuses different sounds across bouncy beats in ways that get people moving. He is making his mark on the music industry with his 305 style of Hip Hop and Club anthems. And over the course of the stay-at-home orders following the COVID-19 pandemic, he has slowly put together a catalog of songs that are now ready to release to a world that’s ready to get out and party. He is the producer of these music releases as well.

“This new single is going to be a huge club song,” Tabares24 said. “It’s kind of my way of pushing back against these stay-at-home orders. I’m basically saying if you want to shut the clubs down, that’s fine, we’ll bring the clubs to the gram. It’s definitely a club banger and people are going to love it.”

Tabares24 is utilizing the help of some strippers to help market the song and the forthcoming music video, which is set to drop later this month. By utilizing the social media platform Tick Tock, Tabares24 has recruited strip club dancers who are currently out of work and having them dance to his song. Eventually, he said the music video will bring the strippers back to the club scene, as well as showcase them dancing around him on a party boat with him in the center entertaining everyone.

“We all have cabin fever right now and we desperately want the normalcy of Miami life back,” he said. “That’s what this song is about – getting back to what we love and having a good time.”

In addition to “Drop It On Site,” Tabares24 has released another single called “Where’s My Freedom At.” Unlike most of his other music, this song takes a different approach and is a bit more slow and soulful. It samples bit of Kanye’s music and features “hard lyrics” that explore everything going on with the global pandemic in ways that commiserate with others wanting to rebel against the negative side effects of social distancing.

Both singles will soon be available across all digital streaming platforms, with a music video for “Drop It On Site” to follow later this month.

Dissolver No. 7 – Move Along

Industry Spotlight, Music, Promo, Videos

Country Rocker Dissolver No. 7 offers America a different perspective
on current affairs with new album ‘Star-Spangled Punch’

MACON, GA – Cosmic Country, Southern Rock and Gospel collide in a hot new album from
Dissolver No. 7, led by Georgia-based singer/songwriter Jerry Akin. The musician has made a
name for himself in the industry as a go-to songwriter, with credits for bands such as Innocent
Ivey, The Hog Mountain Brothers and Atomic Sun, just to name a few. But with the release of
his second album “Star-Spangled Punch,” Akin hopes to let the world see a different side of him
– one more transparent and honest and deeply personal than anything he’s previously put out.
The album features nine songs that all explore, in one way or another, the various allegiances
to which we pledge ourselves and the motivations that go into those commitments. Akin said
it’s a timely album for the state of affairs the U.S. finds itself in these days and in some ways,
the challenging messages in his songs will cause listeners to look at the world around more
carefully.

“The overarching theme is being mindful of what you serve,” Akin said. “What Kingdom are you
crowning? It starts off with a critique of our tendency to cling on to politics over identity – to
dig our heels into something and pledge allegiance to ideals and convictions. All those human
things are going to spoil at some point, and it’s sort of a letdown whenever we invest ourselves wholeheartedly into anything. So I’m admonishing people to be careful of what we’re pledging
our hearts and minds and lives to, because there can be a brokenness to it if we’re not careful.
Part of the human condition is recognizing that the things that divide us aren’t going to be the
things that save us.”

Akin said that though he does touch on spiritual things in his music as a natural outflow of the
faith that plays such a powerful part in his life, he doesn’t consider himself to be a Gospel artist.
In fact, he doesn’t like to label his unique sound and style into any one genre at all. He’s just
someone who writes songs about real life – his faith is part of that, but so are heartbreak and
love and joy and all the other stuff that humans experience in life.

Akin has been writing songs for more than 25 years. In 2014, he launched his own label
DixiePhonic Records, and started recording all original material from his Southern Mystic
Studios. Sometimes a rebel, always a maverick, Akin has a sound that kicks back against
mainstream Country music trends. And though he frequently recalls outlaw Country and roots-
based Rock & Roll styles, he is never afraid to experiment – sometimes combining unusual
sounds, backward tape loops, or otherworldly noises in an otherwise traditional-sounding
production. The resulting sound is one that reflects his personal motto: “Rooted in the earth,
reaching for the heavens.”

“First and foremost, I want people to enjoy the music,” he said. “I feel like the songs I create are
catchy and the music is infectious, but there’s also something deeper to the lyrics that I think
people can listen to and find hope. I’d like my music to be something that presents a message
that even in our brokenness there’s always a way forward. There’s hope out there and a way to
come together and a way to heal. I think people need a lot of healing right now.”

“Star-Spangled Punch” is slated to drop across all streaming platforms on July 4. Two singles
from the projects – “Move Along” and “Navigator” – are already available for download.
