Trickstaer – Delinquent Center

Underground criminal and talented musician Trickstaer drops new project ‘Delinquent Center, a Whisper Album’

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – Tony Truong, better known by his stage name Trickstaer, is a Vietnamese-American rapper, singer, composer and record producer who has been making a name for himself throughout the music industry over the past few years. He received initial recognition from the third collection of music, “Phantoms of Reiterations,” which he released in September 2020. Today he’s looking to expand his global fanbase with the release of his latest album “Delinquent Center, A Whisper Album.”

Self-described as a “crazy journey and life experience rap project” that showcases his unique skillset and signature style as an artist, “Delinquent Center, A Whisper Album” takes listeners on a journey that shows a young music lover evolve into a bona fide rapper who has the raw, natural talent to one day become a household name. No longer is Trickstaer a new artist. With this new album he’s showing the world a maturity as an artist that only comes with someone who has put in the hard work to hone his skills and develop a quality of sound that is second-to-none.

“The perspective of this album is from the emotions a kid from a delinquent center,” Trickstaer said. “It’s a metaphor. The world is a delinquent center, so you should watch your back.”

The standout single from the album is a song of the same name, “Delinquent Center.” Further piggybacking off the idea of a kid in a delinquent center, the song is unexpectedly about love and heartbreak and the inability to share love with someone when you’re trapped by other obligations or restrictions.

“It’s about being in an isolated life, loving somebody and the intimacy that holds nobody’s opinions but the two of yours,” he said. “And when it’s gone, there’s nobody to hold the pain but you. That’s the love of Delinquent Center. If you get your heart broken in a delinquent center, what do you do? Nobody takes care of you but you. It’s a song that shows vulnerability. My music began from a place of talking and a need for a voice. This is not about being scary, but I come from a bad life and I’m bringing music from a vulnerable place around it. I’m misunderstood, because this is more about not being accepted for who I am. I am an enigma. Out of that I think I’ve created one of the best, most classic albums for people to listen to.”

“Delinquent Center, A Whisper Album” is currently available across all digital streaming platforms. To listen to his music, or to follow him on social media, please visit the following links:

Akeem Magnetic – Woah!

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Fans around the world are attracted to the wisdom of young artist Akeem Magnetic and his pumped up new single ‘Whoa’

COLLEGE PARK, GA – Akeem Magnetic is an artist who is authentic, unapologetic and about to get you pumped up. His latest single will make you say “Whoa!” … literally. It’s an upbeat, summer-ready jam that is sure to have people on their feet and bouncing, while also serving as an anthem, of sorts, for the masses.

“It’s a song to get people pumped up,” Akeem said. “It’s basically an expression that you would say when you’ve come through something hard and you’ve triumphed. It’s like, ‘Whoa Kemosabe! I did it!’ For me it starts with overcoming my trials and making major changes after I did two years in prison and now seeing everything I ever thought could come to me, and I’m just like ‘Whoa!’”

Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, but raised on the South Side of Atlanta in the neighborhood known as College Park, Akeem developed a passion for music at a very young age. He was inspired by his father, who was a producer, and his uncle, who was a rapper. He recalls many times as a young child when he’d be with the both of them in the studio, or watching his dad stay up late at night making beats. He embraced that musical influence and showcased a natural affinity for freestyling. But in his early teenage years he ran into trouble with the law. He spent the last year-and-a-half of his sentence in a halfway house, which is where music really became his main outlet of expression and his saving grace.

“When I was in the halfway house I created a single called ‘Crime College,’” Akeem said. “It did really well and got a lot of attention, and that kind of served as a transition for me that made me want to music full-time. Once I got out and had the support of my family – which is just beautiful – I’ve been working hard to make this music successful.”

In October 2020, Akeem released his first single, “Humble Beginnings.” With more than 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 15,000 social media followers, Akeem’s progress in the music industry continues to skyrocket. And now, with the release of his latest single “Whoa,” he plans to become a dominant force in the industry. With such a rapid rise and relentless stream of critical and real-world problems, it’s clear that Akeem has clear knowledge and plans for success.

“My music comes from my experiences alone and it’s distinguished from any other artist out there,” he said. “My name Akeem means wise, and I’ve paired that with something that’s attractive, like a magnet. What I speak and say attracts people. I’m a magnetic character, and my music is all about being attracted to that wisdom through good vibes. My truth and authenticity comes through in creative ways, and I’m excited for more people to hear it.”

Catch the Vibes WIth Quianna Crute WIth Her New Single “Oh Adonai” From Her Album “Created to Worship”

In her debut album, “Created to Worship,” esteemed praise leader and choreographer Quianna Crute creates a yoke-breaking, deliverance-inducing musical worship experience. The first single, “My Love Letter” is just that… a powerful praise and worship composition that exposes Quianna’s heart for God in its rawest and most intimate state.

Quianna states: “I want my concerts to be the place where people come to get a message through the music that brings life to the dying, hope to the hopeless, and renewed faith to people who are on the brink of giving up on God. I want my concerts to be like a reservoir where people can come, be filled and have an experience with God that will change their lives forever, all over the world. I want to see people on their knees, arms and hands lifted, purging, and crying out to him… everyone on one accord worshiping and praising the true star, Jesus Christ.”

Astro Davis – Prpl Rain

Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Astro Davis Gets Real About Who He Is In Deep, Mellow “Prpl Rain”

(Alexandria, VA)

“My motive for making music isn’t just to put out content. It’s also to be very sincere with my audience. I want to unite my audience and me, to make us feel like we are one. They’re on my journey with me,” says Philly-born, Virginia-raised rapper Astro Davis. Davis charts that journey on his single “Prpl Rain.”

“This song means a lot more to me than other songs because the subject I’m talking about is real,” says Davis. “It shows me explaining who I am, what I’m doing,” he adds. The song arose when his producer put on a beat, and Davis emoted the words. “I just started singing to it. It was perfect. After that, the magic happened.” The song layers melodic singing with aggressive rap over a slow, swaying beat. “The song is chill but it has message,” says the artist.

“Prpl Rain” takes its name from the time Davis was prescribed codeine. “Codeine is usually purple, depending on how you mix it. In the song I’m describing the numb feeling you have even when you’re going through heavy stuff,” he remembers.

The title, of course, pays homage to Prince. “Everybody loves Prince. He changed the course of music. You’ll never hear anything bad about Prince. I was very inspired by that,” says the rapper. Prince is only one of many influences on the rapper, who enjoyed a multicultural upbringing. “I did a lot of traveling as a kid. My mom is Egyptian and Italian, and my dad’s African-American. I grew up with a lot of Italian music like Frank Sinatra. My mom loved DMX. She didn’t listen to too much rap, but when she did, it was always DMX. Then there was the hype music, the West Coast music,” he remembers.

These international influences motivate Davis and lend a broader perspective to his work. He credits those influences and his producers with helping him find his own versatility as an artist. For the moment though, Astro Davis invites you to come get to know him in the “Prpl Rain.”

“Prpl Rain” is available on all major streaming platforms; a video will follow.

Davis will release an EP in the coming months.

SpaceGvng Saturn – Best of Me

Laid back vibe with deeper message motivates fans on new single ‘Best of Me’

LOUIS, MO – Like many other artists who want to leave a legacy, St. Louis-based rapperSpaceGvngSaturn hopes that when people look back on his music many years from now, they recognize it as music that is timeless. He creates life-giving music that pulls from the pain of his past and uses it to inspire others to push through any adversity they might face. His latest single, “Best of Me,” is a great example of how SpaceGvng is using his platform to motivate others. With a laid-back flow and a vibe that’s undeniable, “Best of Me” is a great introduction not only to his forthcoming EP “So Far Gone 2,” but also to him as an artist.

“It’s a song that’s just me expressing myself and how much I’ve overcome and grown over the past few years,” he said. “I love that laid-back feeling, and this song is a vibe, for sure. But you can also hear my wordplay. I like to preach, I guess you could say. I like to draw people in. That’s why I’m chill and laid back, because it makes people lean in and listen to what I have to say.”

Coming from St. Louis, SpaceGvng said he’s very conscious of the “repetitive sound” coming out of the city. He dares to be different and tries to showcase a signature style that is unlike anything else coming out of St. Louis today. Raised in one of the more economically depressed neighborhoods of one of the most statistically violent cities in the world, SpaceGvng has seen his fair share of hardships and pain. He’s been in-and-out of jail, lost friends to the streets, and recently lost his mother. But he has also had some amazing accomplishments along the way. He’s started a family and is invested in the lives of his kids. He’s crafted a unique sound and style that is steadily gaining a fan following with each successive release. And the music videos he has developed have garnered such amazing buzz that each new release becomes an eagerly anticipated event.

“Raised in the slums, I felt like I had three options to get rich,” he said. “It was either sports, trapping or rapping. And life became easier once I figured out I could express my pain through my music. I’ve been rapping seriously for three years now, and I’m ready to take it to the next level.”

SpaceGvng said he’s planning to drop another EP this summer, and will continue to keep releasing videos and singles throughout the rest of the year.

Duchess Letitia / Madame Kapuscinska – Love Letter

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Madame Kapuscinska Brings Healing And Wholeness On Eternal

Knowing oneself is no easy feat. But Madame Kapuscinska knows herself. She’s been to the bottom of her flaws. She’s touched her own wounds to heal them. Now, Madame Kapuscinska brings empowerment and regeneration to her audience. “So many people tried to reject me,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “If someone’s not gonna open the door, I’m gonna make my own door.” Fiercely independent, Madame Kapuscinska handles every aspect of her music career. “ I do my own admin and my own graphics,” she said. “Music is a natural part of me. It helps me manage my mental health.”

Madame Kapuscinska’s latest EP Eternal features 4 honest tracks of pure humanity. She penned “Love Letter” as an homage to the transcendent nature of love, but also the anguish stemming from that love. “‘Love Letter’ is a frustrated mother and wife battling her own demons,” explained Madame Kapuscinska. “And trying to escape, but instead of trying to escape it’s released into music into art. Pain into passion. Creatively communicating expression.”

While “Love Letter” celebrates profound human connection, Madame Kapuscinska doesn’t eschew the uglier parts of life. Listeners ought to take heed of Madame Kapuscinska’s warning on “Online Romance.” Don’t dismiss it as “just another love song.” Instead, the song explores the dangerous side of human connection. “I was getting hit up online,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “I got messages from someone who said they were 15 minutes away from my home. Someone was romanticizing me based on what they think I’m like in my videos.”

But Madame Kapuscinska doesn’t dwell on discomfort or hardship. The single “Ascension” finds her cleansing the damage of the past. “After all the pain and all the trauma, I was about to give up,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “But just as I was about to let go and fall somebody caught me and brought me to the light.” In the song, Madame Kapuscinska also recalls a divine presence giving her aid. “An angel lifted me up and surrounded me with a warm embrace,” she said. “The song tells people to breathe. I’ve had my ascension. I’ve risen. You can have your ascension too. You too can rise.”

Madame Kapuscinska assured fans that they can expect a great deal of content from her. She has 2 music videos in the works for tracks from Eternal. Music-wise, she is working on a full-length reggae album. But Madame Kapuscinska is a lady of many talents. “I have 2 films coming up currently,” she said. “I have a line of gymwear. I’m expanding to jewelry and haircare. I’m working on my autobio. A documentary of my mental health is being sent to festivals.” Fans should tune into Madame Kapuscinska’s platforms for livestream performances and exclusive content.

Jerusalemm – America

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Conscious rapper Jerusalemm Slimm challenges notions of American society with new single ‘America’

DILLON, SC – Jerusalemm Slimm is a lyrical reporter and a self-proclaimed hip-hop activist. He’s an artist who is humbly and diligently seeking a righteous plan for true freedom with people. And through his music he is delivering his purpose to uplift, educate and inspire others. His latest single, “America,” is a catchy song about the struggles of life in America at the moment. Dealing with a lot of social issues in the country today, Jerusalemm challenges his audiences to consider the lifestyles they’ve taken for granted and pushes them to perhaps explore a different perspective.

“I’m still watching the news these days and seeing a whole lot of things transpiring,” he said. “We can’t like the America we’ve built and consciously say it’s a great state that we’ve built because it isn’t actually great for everyone. Every revolution needs a soundtrack, and I am the soundtrack to the revolution. I want to make a lasting impression with my music, and for it to last longer than I live. If something happens and they dig up my music years later, I hope they’ll say, ‘Wow! They listened to good music!’ I think they’d be able to identify the mood of the people from the music I create. I’m a storyteller, and I like to tell stories about the system – the good, the bad and the ugly. That’s what this song is about – the life and the struggles of our American society.”

Jerusalemm was fortunate to work hand-in-hand with legendary producer LES, who is known for his work in the past with Nas and Big Pun. The two of them collaborated on both “America” and the forthcoming album “Hidden Treasure,” which should launch across all streaming platforms in May.

Jerusalemm has come a long way since first watching his grandfather perform as part of the quartet The Dixie-aires. For as long as he can remember Jerusalemm has watched his grandfather navigate through the music industry. He’s joined him in the studio for recording sessions and stood back stage watching as his grandfather performed live. By age 12 Jerusalemm was writing his own material – mostly in the R&B realm. But about seven years ago he started getting more interested in hip-hop and discovered a true passion and natural talent for writing lyrics and spitting bars.

“I decided to be me instead of following trends and doing what everybody else is doing,” he said. “I like to be original. I like a lot of old-school hip-hop, but I’m also influenced by a lot of genres. I like Gospel and R&B and all types of different music that influences me. As I studied music and culture, I came across something that talked about how Jesus was black, and how people started referring to him as Jersulaemm Slim. I started using that name because he’s supposed to be the savior of hip-hop, and that’s what I want to do.”

Jerusalemm Slimm’s new single “America” can be found across all digital platforms, with the full album “Hidden Treasure” due to be released in mid-May. To listen to his music, or to follow him on social media, please visit the following links:

[Video] Louie Moe ‘Players Anthem’ | @1LouieMoe

Videos

Soaring high out of Louisville, Kentucky is none other than female emcee Louie Moe! On Monday (April 12th), the Louisville rhymer dropped off her latest video titled, “Players Anthem” on WorldStar. Garnering such great feedback from her release, the music video accumulated over 1 million views and counting.

Keeping up the female trend… Louie Moe of course taps a female director to bring her record to life. The Shanice Raynell-directed visual does just that — continuing to push forward the significance behind this female empowering anthem. The pro-feministic anthem encourages women to focus on themselves rather than being distracted by outside influences.

In the visual, Louie appears to be having the time of her life as she laughs, dances, and twerks her night away in a hotel surrounded by friends. You can also see scenes of Louie rapping to the camera in a stylish pink two-piece intermixed with scenes of her in Louis Vuitton pajamas. Throughout the record, Louie raps about not tolerating bullsh*t from anyone, particularly men, and quickly cutting them off if “they act funny.”

“You can’t be bae if you ain’t never blow da pistol, shooters get to shoot their shot, they better throw a missile,” she says.

Letting everyone know that she doesn’t mess around and that whoever is brave enough to shoot their shot better come correct.

Born on the West Side of Louisville, Kentucky, Louie Moe comes from a big family with six sisters who were all raised by her mother. At the tender age of 7, Louie began tinkering with music before her passion for the art grew. Listening to the music her uncle shared with her as a kid is one of Louie’s fondest memories. Growing up in the hood, Louie experienced both the pros and cons of it. Despite missing a significant amount of school due to her family’s frequent moves, Louie graduated from high school with honors.

Louie Moe’s musical debut came as her single titled, “First Day Out(Remix). Her first official video for “First Day Out” went viral without any kind of label backing or promotion. This is because Louie stands out from the crowd because she isn’t afraid to say what she thinks. She produces a vibe that is instantly relatable whether it’s upbeat or laid back, bringing more than sex appeal to her records.

Louie has always found music to be a source of healing, and she hopes that her music has the same effect on others. Louie’s motivation for making music is to be a voice that cures others. She wants to curate the go-to music that people can listen to when they need to escape.

Louie writes music that is both entertaining and true to her life and experiences. Her biggest musical influences are NBA Youngboy and Tupac, while her biggest fashion stars are Aaliyah and Rihanna. Louie’s key career goal is to be successful enough to encourage others to follow their dreams the same way that she did. Louie’s brand is known as “Da Army,” and it continues to expand daily.

Louie was most recently featured on Troy Ave’s Troy Ave Volume 1 and is currently promoting her latest single “Player’s Anthem,” which debuted recently on Worldstar. Louie Moe’s self-titled debut project, Louie Moe features a number of standout tracks, including “Player’s Anthem” listen here today!
