David Deacon is an exciting Blues and Roots artist who is returning to the music scene. After a decade of hard work in an intense creative industry, Deacon chose to leave music. Now, returning to the scene, he is excited to utilize the new technology that redefined what it means to be a musician and share his work with the world.
Reigniting his career as a musician, he is getting started with a brilliant, bluesy Rock single titled “No Never Mind”. It is an unsympathetic track that dives right into how it feels to have no remorse after a breakup. “This track is about how I felt after a relationship came to an end,” he explained. “It is really about not caring about anything as you move on.”
With a career that began in poetry, Deacon’s music focuses heavily on lyricism and the impact his words can have on his audience. “I want to create something that people can relate to,” he explained. Songs like “No Never Mind” are brilliant examples of his lyrical ability and the ease at which he can connect to his listeners.
When he first began to blend his poetry with music, Deacon quickly found a voice as an artist. His sound is classic with a unique twist that keeps you wanting more. His life however consists of more than just music. Devoting his time to a variety of things, including racing cars, painting and so much more, he is always chasing new risks. “I live a varied life,” he explained. “I think that life is meant to be lived and I hope my music can be a representation of that.”
To follow up the release of “No Never Mind” Deacon is excited to share the rest of his upcoming album with his audience. With nine more vibrant tracks to look forward to, the album spans across a range of emotions. From the uncaring attitude of “No Never Mind” to the heartfelt emotion of tracks like “Poetry” and everything in between, there is something for everyone in this album.
When the album releases, be sure to check out “Poetry” as the counterpart of “No Never Mind”, equipt with heartfelt emotions and the other side of an already compelling story. Another track to look out for with the album release would be one of Deacon’s own favorites, “California Has No Winter”.
