New York Hip-Hop Artist Tmmyx is Making
Major Moves in 2018

LOS ANGELES, CA – When it comes to hip-hop music, Tmmyx has been all
about it ever since he could remember. At a young age, he discovered the world
of hip-hop, and instantly felt connected to it. He would often dream about
becoming a major rapper one day, and as he grew older, he stayed dedicated to
making that a reality. One thing always remained the same no matter what was
happening in his life: his ultimate love for everything that hip-hop was.

As Tmmyx continued to pursue his musical dreams, he kept working in a behind
the scenes way. The artist wanted to keep things “on the low”, mostly due to the
fact that he didn’t know how people would respond. “If you are not huge, people
don’t always accept it,” said Tmmyx. “When I was in my younger years, I didn’t
want to show people what I was doing. But, then I got older and didn’t care as
much. So, I started telling people what I was working on.” After making this public
knowledge, the rapper began to see how things started lining up for him so
easily. He began linking up with fellow artists and producers, and knew this was
the beginning of something pivotal within his hip-hop career.

At this point, Tmmyx can’t see himself doing anything else. He often thinks about
how scary it can be when an artist dedicates their whole life to one thing.
Currently, the artist is placing a huge emphasis on focusing his energy on
singles. “I have some planned mixtapes on the back burner. I’m just focused on
building my brand right now,” said Tmmyx. His single, a remix to the hit “Jocelyn
Flores” by XXXTENTACION, has been doing impressive numbers on
SoundCloud since the release over two months ago. Building on that success,
his most recent single, “Back Down”, will be sure to have the streets hot.

Looking ahead, the artist has huge goals for himself in which he works everyday
to achieve. “I would love to really live off music, and take it to the next level. I feel
like I’m doing things on a whole other level. My vibe is so unique because it
touches every genre of hip-hop. I can do anything you ask, so I’m versatile with
my sound,” said the artist. In telling his own story through his lyrics and
discussing life events he’s encountered, he finds his fans can easily relate to him.
After starting his own brand, BM Music Group, he has enjoyed living through the
rapid growth in his career, such as performing at shows for Power 105.1. Tmmyx
is not afraid to put in the work, which is very telling of his impressive career thus
far.

Pop Starlet Ja’Nelle Brown Releases
Newest Single “Say It”

ST. LOUIS, MO – Ja'Nelle Brown is a star who is quickly on the rise. Ever since
she was a little girl, the singer has always had a fervent interest in music. In fact,
watching the hit Disney show Hannah Montana led her even closer to her
musical dreams. She looked up to major pop artists like Britney Spears, after the
singer’s uncle would often show her the pop star’s music videos. It didn’t take
much for her to take the first step, and by the age of eight, she enrolled in a
performing arts summer camp. “I really wanted to perform for my mom without
her knowing,” said the singer. “So when I decided to sing a song by Lady Gaga, I
shocked my mom. She had no idea I could sing at that level!”

Pretty soon, Brown began developing a passion for all aspects of music through
taking both piano and singing lessons. Her genuine love and appreciation for
music continued to grow, and she truly never looked back. As she furthered her
singing career, she began to release her original songs via Spotify and iTunes.
What’s so unique about Brown is how she believes in incorporating a visual
aspect with each record she puts out. After releasing her single “Evolutionary
Love”, she realized how quickly her musical dreams were coming to life through
hard work and consistent dedication.

The talented singer recently released her hit single “Say It”, which is a song for
just about anyone. “The song is saying, ‘I want you to tell me that you love me’.
It’s hard for people to communicate their feelings, especially these days. Things
would be much easier if we all just said how we feel,” said Brown. When it comes
to her sound, Brown is very versatile, and enjoys incorporating a variety of
sounds into her music. Her single “In My Feelings” generates a more Caribbean
feel, while others typically bring forth a “pop” vibe. Basically, whatever Brown
puts her hands-or singing voice- to, is always an instant sensation.

As far as motivation is concerned, Brown owes it all to her mother. “My biggest
motivator is my mother. She has always pushed me to be the best person I can
be. She’s always ready to help with whatever I want to do, and I’m very thankful
for her,” said Brown. Looking ahead, the singer hopes to be in a place where she
is a household name. What’s so refreshing is how her goal is to make people
happy when they listen to her music, while influencing their emotions overall.
Brown is consistently putting forth good energy into the world, and her artistic
craft is living proof of what a rare gem she is in this industry.

Boogie Noche – I Got Rythm | @Noche366

Boogie Noche combines trap with boom-bap on
new album, ‘Darker Nights’

BROOKLYN, NY – Boogie Noche likes fun music.

His unique trap and “boom-bap” sound combines with a larger-than- life persona in a one-of- a-
kind artist who is lighting up the East Coast with his new music. Though he’s spent more than a
decade in the industry – grinding it out and riding a wave of success – he knows that the launch
of his new album, “Darker Nights,” will put him on the map in ways he’s never before seen.

“Basically we’re all looking for success and sometimes you have to go through rough things to
get there,” he said. “That’s what this album is all about. It’s not always a good night
– sometimes we have darker nights. And this album uses diverse sounds to explore some of
those themes. There are five boom-bap records on it and the rest are trap. And throughout it all
I’m getting lyrical and having fun with the music.”

The main single from the album is a song called “I Got Rhythm.” It’s the perfect example of one
of his “boom-bap” songs, and features a classic 88 Jay-Z sample on it. Boogie Noche said he
turns to a little of a trap beat toward the middle of the song, and the outro also feature a bit of
trap. And at the end of the day it’s one of those songs that people will just love to have fun with
and listen to over and over again.

“It sounds dope,” he said. “I was just flexin flows and putting it on for Brooklyn. It’s one of those
tracks where I’m just going off, and I gotta let you know I got it. And like with all of my music, I
just want people to relate – even those people who aren’t at the same level. We’re all the
same, no matter where we are around the globe. We can all relate on a certain level. But most
especially if you’re down with hip-hop, then we can probably get down together.”

Boogie Noche said that though he loves to have fun, he’s also grounded and can spit with a lot
of different flows while discussing a wide variety of topics. He never wants to stick to the same
formula from record-to- record. That’s why he’s constantly trying new flows and listening to
other sounds within the industry to try to stay at the level that keeps him mainstream, while
still pushing the envelope with creativity.

“And I give them my flavor,” he said of his music. “I’m lyrical and flow-wise I do some
harmonizing and some singing. I’m not a young guy in the game, but that doesn’t mean I can’t
keep up with them. I sound completely different from a lot of people, and I have definitely
developed my own lane. I love commercial, underground, and all angles and aspects of hip-hop.
I dip and dive and try to make what I’m good at and then mix it all together.”

‘Book of NOLA’ showcases new artist’s fresh sound while

highlighting New Orleans’ hip-hop

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The unique sounds and style of New Orleans hip-hop are on full display with the new album from up-and- coming artist NOLA B. The album, “Book of NOLA,” was released in December and is already making waves among fans throughout the South. And according to NOLA B, it’s not only a project that highlights the incredible diversity and history of his home-town, but also showcases some of the city’s incredible talent with features from LRG1, Southside, Neptunes, Just Blaze and more.

“It shows off a little bit of hip-hop and a little bit of R&B,” he said. “It’s flashy and gritty and street and just a mixture of multiple flavors. More than anything, it’s a collection of New Orleans artists.”

The debut single from the album is a song called “Candles & Slow Jam.” The song features Kalvin Kosha, who NOLA B said he met at a label that the two of them both worked for some years back. NOLA B produced a couple of songs for Kalvin Kosha, and “Candles & Slow Jam” is a song that the two of them worked on together about a year-and- a-half ago.

“He’s from Houston, but he would go to New Orleans all the time to do some work at the label,” NOLA B said. “When I moved out to Houston to go to college, I helped him with a video shoot and we got to talking about the song we’d already done together back in the day. We decided to go back into the studio and get it re-recorded. It was so good that we shot to the video for it all in like three days.”

The song is “all about how you want to treat your girl,” NOLA B said. It starts from the standpoint of a girl questioning her man’s ability to be romantic, and then takes a journey through the day of that man proving to the woman that he can be romantic. The music video shows this journey through NOLA B’s eyes as he works his romantic charms on a woman – in this case the model Shaquilla Salter – through three key scenes: a bedroom scene, with candles around the room; a bathtub scene, which candles all around the tub; and a scene on the roof of the hotel.

“It’s a hot and steamy kind of video for a hot and steamy kind of song,” NOLA B said. “I wanted to create a song to show that I can be romantic. You don’t have to be super soft, but you can be romantic to your woman, especially if she’s holding you down. You just have to finesse her a bit. I think it’s a perfect song for Valentine’s Day, and on top of that people can use some love right now with all this negativity in the world.”

The single is just one example from the album that NOLA B said is going to establish a sound that hasn’t been used since the early 2000s of hip-hop music.

“That bad boy sound where the bass is real smooth and there’s not so much heavy
compression,” he said. “It’s the kind of music that makes you want to bob your head and groove.”

Travis Tillery brings brash, in-your- face music to the world
with new mixtape ‘Kiss the Rings, Bitch!’

BROOKLYN, NY – Right off the bat, Travis Tillery wants you to know something: he’s the greatest singer/songwriter/producer of all time.

It’s a bold claim, and he knows it. He also knows that if you were to take any one of those individual things and put him up against others in the world, he might not be able to make that claim. But when it comes to artists who are a triple threat, Tillery said he thinks he has what it takes to be known as the best ever.

Listeners can decide for themselves with his new project, “Kiss the Rings, Bitch!” It’s a mixtape that Tillery has been developing for the better part of a year, and it’s a project that he said showcases his skills as a singer, songwriter and producer all in one perfect musical offering. He chose to name the mixtape this because it best captures the attitude he has at the moment, and it helps him address those who have doubted him or spoken negatively toward him along the way.

“It’s my message of blocking out all that noise and saying, ‘Fuck you,’ to be frank about it,” he said. “I can do whatever I want, and I believe my talents are there. When you listen to this mixtape you will feel the music. I know when I herald myself as the greatest of all time that might sound cocky, but I’ve been doing music for a long time and I feel very confident in this project. I may not be the best at any one single thing, but with a combination of those things I am. I’ve released several projects over the years where I’ve done all three – singing, songwriting and producing. And I think people know from those projects that my creative aspect sets me apart. Some of it is the diverse influences I’ve had over the years – from hip-hop to rock to alternative groups like The Dave Mathews Band or Coldplay. These are sounds that you don’t normally hear in urban music or hip-hop or R&B. But I go outside the box when it comes to creating sounds in those genres. I like to expand people’s minds and give a new spin and take on what’s going on out there. That’s why I say I’m the greatest of all time – there’s not really a voice out there like mine at the moment, and I’m going to prove it and show it through my performances.”

The mixtape features 11 different songs that explore a variety of different topics. Some are brash and showing off, while others embrace a nice hip-hop beat, and still others are mid-tempo with a vibe that allows listeners to just bop their heads to it. The first single off the mixtape is a song called “Radio Killer.” It’s a song that Tillery said deals with the difficult subject of aggravated harassment by way of telling a story from a moment in his own life. And though it is one of those brash, in-your- face kinds of songs, Tillery said he hopes people won’t jump to
conclusions without really diving into the music first.

“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” he said. “Yes, I’m brash and polarizing for some people. But I’m a musician who pushes the conversation. I’m more progressive and more aware of our First Amendment Rights, and I want to start a conversation to talk more about where we are withour art and music, and where it can go. So, yes, as long as it’s not threatening of anyone, I’m going to be provocative and sometimes graphic.”

MidNight – Money | @RealMidNightEnt

Years of waiting pay off for new artist Midnight
with release of single ‘Money’

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Cynthia Frederick has waited a long time to pursue her music dreams.

The 40-year- old rapper from Jacksonville, Florida was a budding young artist in her teenage years, but after getting married young and having two daughters, she chose to focus on her family and set her dreams of making it big in the music industry to the side. Today, the adult daughter may leave home soon to pursue her own career, and Frederick is ready to dive back into her passion for music. And just as she is reaching back in time to the talent she displayed as a young girl, she’s also reaching back to the name she was given during one of her first rap battles in high school.

“I used to battle rap in middle school and high school and one time I was rapping against another female,” Frederick said.” When she got done, I took my turn. And when I finished, she said, ‘Oh my gosh! You need to change your name to midnight, because you just come from out of nowhere and creep up on you.’ She said I’d start off and then all of a sudden, Bam! I’d hit you from out of nowhere. Ever since then the name Midnight stuck.”

As the artist known as Midnight, Frederick is preparing to release her first single. It’s a song called “Money” and it features some of her talent as a wordsmith and ability to light up lyrics laid over the top of a sick beat.

“It’s a song about my love for money,” Midnight said. “It’s a story that I’m telling of growing up and how all I heard when I was little was my mom talking about loving money. She was about two things: her kids, and getting money. That’s where the idea for this some came from.”

While Midnight features her strong rap talents on this single, she’s quick to point out that she has a diverse offering of other talents that listeners can check out on her other music. She can sing, she writes poetry, and she loves to collaborate with producers to create catchy beats. She said she hopes new listeners will check out her new single, “Money,” and fall in love with it so much that they’ll want to hear more from her. She said this is just the beginning of her resurgence in music, and she’s anxious to grow her fan-base more and more in the weeks and months to come.

“I waited a long time to pursue my music dreams,” she said. “I have always wanted to do music since the days when I was raised in the church. My dad was always opposed to me doing rap music, even though I loved it. But he loved to see me sing in the church. I had to give up my music because I got pregnant, but my husband told me now that my kids are grown I need to do something that makes me happy. Music has always been a part of my life. I’m like nothing without music. And I’m excited to share that passion with other people.”

Atlanta Hip-Hop Artist Jalen to Release New Mixtape: “Love and Other Drugs II”

LOS ANGELES, CA – Jalen Woodard has been moving through life at the beat
of his own drum, or rhyme in this case. The artist was born in Portsmouth,
Virginia, but moved to Atlanta in his adolescent years. The hype of the southern
music scene inspired Jalen, and he knew one day he would become a part of it.
In his younger years, he dabbled into various forms of music, and never forgot
how it truly made him feel in his element.

As Jalen grew older, he never stopped pursuing his musical dreams. Pretty soon,
he discovered his innate ability to utilize his life experiences and transform them
into a lyrical masterpiece. “I really enjoy songwriting,” said Jalen. “There’s
something that is so beautiful about it, and through that I enjoy creating music. I
use my personal experiences for inspiration, and how I grew up.” In being so
forthcoming and transparent about different life events, he finds his audience can
easily relate to him. So far, this has produced a great deal of success for Jalen.

Over the years, as Jalen grew increasingly serious about his career, he began
releasing mixtapes via Spinrilla. As of recent, he’s back better than ever with a
unique, melodic sound that anyone can vibe to with his latest mixtape, “Love and
Other Drugs”. After dropping the mixtape two months ago, the artist is
overwhelmed and humbled by the amazingly positive feedback he has received
in regards to the project. Though, this seems to be the norm for Jalen.

Next up, Jalen plans to release the follow-up, titled “Love and Other Drugs II”.

Fans can expect a more upbeat tone when it comes to the track list. “Compared
to the first one, this mixtape will have more bangers. ‘Love and Other Drugs’ has
more of a melodic sound, so the second one will be more original,” said Jalen.
No matter what Jalen is currently working toward, he keeps one goal in mind: to
continue making prominent and dominant moves in the industry. “I want to be
more self sufficient. I’m not against labels, but the independent route is the way
to go right now with the way the industry is going,” said Jalen. Through his own
label, Memberz Only LLC, he plans to release “Love and Other Drugs II” in the
next week. If it’s anything like its predecessor, it’s definitely going to be an
instantaneous hit.

“Love and Other Drugs” will be available on Spinrilla while Jalen’s singles are on

Najee Rosekush – Rose Emoji | @Najeerosekush

Music, Promo

New artist blossoms to the world with single ‘Rose Emoji’

JACKSON, MS – It started with a furlough in Hollywood and a walk down the boulevard with
some of his military buddies. On a whim, Brandon Laury-McArthur decided to buy roses and
hand them out to all the pretty girls he saw along the boulevard. Though he only got one girl to
kick it with him that evening, that maneuver caused his friends to start referring to him as
Hollywood Rose … and the name stuck with a sense of synchronistic irony.

He parlayed that name and that experience into a full-fledged identity, adopted the moniker
Najee Rosekush, and used the symbolism of roses as a drug in both his personal style and his
music. He said he put kush at the end because “an ex-lover said it was easy and dangerous to get emotionally attached to him. To them I was like an addictive drug that should be avoided.”
That’s the meaning behind his logo. After finishing his contract with the Marine Corps in 2015,
he said he initially transited into a toxic lifestyle of abuse: from drugs, violence, and petty
hustles. After coming out of the fog in 2016 and becoming disillusioned from spending all his
money, he made a promise that he will stop wasting his potential on chasing “illusions” and
dedicate his time to pursuing his dream of having a career in the Music industry. And today he is
ready to release his music to the world, starting with the first single, “Rose Emoji.”

“The rose is a symbol that has always been present in my life,” he said. “Almost all the women
in my family has Rose in their name – my mom’s name is Rose, and my sister’s name is Amelia
Rose. It stems from my great-grandmother and became a tradition. But of course, that experience from the military made me adopt it for myself, but to me, the rose means so much more. It represents that you’re blooming and blossoming to the world around you and that you don’t have to be perfect. I was super introverted at one point and now people know me for being introverted and confident. I believe the world is a rose – no matter what you’re going through, you can always put on a positive mental attitude, but much deeper than this, even though the world isn’t perfect, we can find beauty in the chaos. That’s what my life has been. No matter how far down I got, I always came out on top. I kept a positive attitude and played the cards I was given. And I want people to see the beauty in the world. Everyone has a dream, everyone has a unique gift. I speak to this side of them, the damaged but beautiful side, that’s unabridged and chaotic. The side that society is trying to flush out of us, or mold into the fake images we see around us. I cant to bring integration. Everything is teeming around us and life is beautiful. It might be dark at times, but you gotta find the beauty in the darkness. At the same time you can’t be too idealistic. You have to also be realistic. Every rose has its thorns, nothing will ever be perfect. But even in those dark moments there are ways to be happy and that’s what I want people to know with my music. Perfection is unattainable, and we don’t have to chase its shadow.”

“Rose Emoji” is a song that he said was somewhat born from those cumulative ideas he
developed and his pursuit of passing happiness along to anyone he meets, especially women. He said any time a girl texts him good morning, he almost always responds by sending them a rose emoji. And he does it, he said, because he likes to play games a little.

“This song is like that in the sense that it’s a colorful song about blooming to the world and
being on top of your game,” he said. “A lot of people stay within their shells and refuse to evolve
from it, they paint the shell but don’t nourish what’s inside. I want to inspire confidence while
people listen to the song. This song encourages them to bloom, to be themselves and go out into the world and experience it without getting attached to it because everything is changing. You gotta stay connected to your own thing, your own culture, and yourself. Cultivate yourself, don’t be afraid to be who you are. We live in a world that is constantly trying to mold us to be something or someone we are not but you gotta stay down and true to the game. Life is all about evolving, and you can’t evolve if you out here pretending or living behind a permanent mask. Although we change daily, a cub becomes a lion, not a hippo. Your mind creates your reality by the visions and images you conjure and concoct up there. That what Rose Emoji means for me, I can have it all and that’s what I’m going to go after because I want a piece of the action.”

Like most of his music, Rosekush describes “Rose Emoji” as “a synergetic dance between
complexity and simplicity, the type of songs you can listen and chill to while getting mentally
invigorated. I make music for introverts who occasionally get lit.” He said he makes songs that
are deeply introspective but intensely bittersweet in which he hopes will cause people to pause
and ponder. He loves language and wordplay, though he also appreciates a song that keeps it
simple, so people can just vibe while enjoying the music. So, while most of his music is lyrical
and perfect for “sitting down and thinking about the Game,” he also creates music that lets
people “get lit, loosen up, and lose themselves to the lyrics.”

Rich Tone – Demons | @RichToneNation

Artist Showcase, Music, Promo

Rich Tone overcomes pains from past be illuminating truth through music

BRONX, NY – Before every recording session in the studio, Anthony “Rich Tone” Salvatierra
recites a mantra he learned after the passing of his grandmother, Maria Gomera.
“I have the cut,” he said. “Now it’s time to open the wound, throw alcohol on it, and make it
burn.”

Growing up in the Bronx, New York with a Dominican mother, Rich Tone never had it easy. He
was raised by a single mother with the help of his grandmother and cousin, Marlene Gomera.
As a teenager, he wasn’t your typical High School student for he was always in and out of trouble. At the age of 15, he had his first felony for robbery. Police brutality along with the K9
bite mark on his right leg and a bruised face, left a big impact in his life.

He recalls sleeping in overcrowded apartments with heaters going out and using the stove to
heat up water just to take a warm shower. And it was during those years growing up that his
mother, his cousin and especially his grandmother left a major impression on his life. They
taught him to chase his dreams, to always try, and if he was going to fail, then he should at least
fail big.

So when his grandmother passed away a few years back, the cut of pain was deep. But he knew
from her life lessons to him over the years that he needed to tap into that pain and bring it out
and share it with the world. She became the reason he dove head-first into music. And today he
dedicates much of his music to her and the other women in his life who have left such a big
mark.

His new EP, “The Obstacle,” is a testament to that journey and the many challenges he’s
overcome. The six-song project features trap music mixed with soul, and nods not only to the
musical influences of his life – such as Jay Z – but also his own heritage and the unique sound
and style that he hopes to bring to the table.

“I don’t find myself too unique, I would just say that I have an ambition and hunger that you
don’t see in too many people,” he said. “I grind and chase goals and face anything head on. I
saw my mom and grandmother struggle – I saw the pain in their lives. And a lot of that has
been reflected into my life, and through it I’ve come out learning. It has helped me to develop a
sort of ‘Fuck It’ syndrome. And that’s what I hope my music becomes for others – that
motivation that you hear before going to work to help you get through your own everyday
struggles. My music is motivation to keep going.”

Though this new project is one that he knows will help him make a mark on the industry, he
isn’t a rookie to music. By age 24 he had started a team called Street Prodigy, while also
releasing his first single called “Shooters.” The single saw modest success and has helped him
push his career further. “The Obstacle” is his next musical offering, and it’s one that he said he
knows more fans will embrace.
