Nilooteh uses power of music to inspire others to embrace free spirit
LOS ANGELES, CA – Nilooteh is a woman with a rebel heart that isn’t meant to be tamed – a wild child with a free spirit and reckless mind. She’s the kind of free-spirited woman who is stifled in a strict regime like her home country of Iran, which forces women to cover their body and hair from head-to-toe. Nilooteh said she wants to focus her music on that idea of freedom – both physically and mentally. She said too many people today are prisoners of their own thoughts and she hopes her music will become the vehicle behind which more people in the world find true freedom. Music industry legend Chris Birkett releases timely smooth rock love ballad
TORONTO, CANADA – One of the music industry’s premier artists and entertainers has dropped yet another hit single. Chris Birkett – whose music collaborations with A-list international artists include Sinead O’Connor, Dexys Midnight Runners, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, and more – has recently released a smooth rock love ballad called “Precious Love” that is burning like a wildfire around the globe.

Written and performed by Birkett, the song features some of Toronto’s finest musicians, including Bill King on keyboards, Gene Hardy on sax, Paul DeLong on drums, and background vocals from Taylor Abrahamse. The video was created by renowned director Joan Prowse.
“Precious Love” is merely the latest of a string of hits for Birkett, who said he has even more music planned for release later this year and going into 2022. On November 11, 2019 he released his fourth album aptly titled “11:11.” But shortly after that COVID hit and the pandemic and social distancing curtailed his touring plans. He took advantage of the time available to him in the studio and put together a string of singles that he’s now ready to release. Internationally known DJ launches recording career with hot debut single ‘Halston Takes a Trip’
LOS ANGELES, CA – Old-school Disco meets modern-era House music on the debut hit single from DJ-turned-recording-artist Sloane Angell. “Halston Takes a Trip” is a long, psyche-ish groove with hypnotic synth stabs and punchy drums that invite the listener to the dance floor and keep them there. It’s a fun track ready made for hanging out on the beach or enjoying a night out at the club. Roughly inspired by the Halston documentary on Netflix, the song is Angell’s attempt to make a desert rave song, albeit born from his love of the unique sounds and styles of the 70s.
“I love bringing a lot of really older sounds to the table,” Angell said. “I love Disco and the resurgence of Disco in House music. I’m trying to bring in samples and unique sounds from the 70s and some of that original Disco. That’s definitely true of this track. Ultimately I’d like to reference certain samples and sounds from different eras and incorporate them in all my songs. Mostly I’m interested in curating environments and moods. That’s what I’ve always sought after as a DJ. I have an eye for setting really specific energies in rooms or environments. Before, I used other people’s work to set those tones, but in the future I’d like to use more and more of my music to fine-tune even more moods I’m trying to create.”
After nearly a decade of serving as one of the go-to DJs of Los Angeles, Angell said he’s excited to be able to write and produce his own music. It’s an endeavor that he said allows him to have an even more tailored touch on the music that’s played in the environments he’s creating. But music isn’t the only artistic endeavor that he pursues on a daily basis.

KILKENNY explores love, mental health and peer pressure with mellow ambiance on new album ‘HYPO’
PORTLAND, OR – A vast array of production styles that explore themes of love, mental health and peer pressure make its way onto the new album from West Coast artist KILKENNY. Embracing the anti-hyper-pop aesthetic, this new artist’s project “HYPO” offers a more mellow, low-key side of Pop-infused sounds and styles that elicits a more melancholy and almost ethereal vibe. Across nine tracks, KILKENNY brings listeners along on a journey of self-discovery and introspection, while also offering an ambiance that’s ready-made for relaxation.
The project started with the single “HEADLIGHTS,” which he released in January. Not originally intending to create a full album, KILKENNY said he was curious to see what kind of response he would get from the release of “HEADLIGHTS.” He’s been an artist exploring the diverse sub-genres of Pop music for a while, and “HEADLIGHTS” was a foray into uncharted territory for him. The response he received was overwhelming, and he decided to further explore that sound and style through a full project.

It was born from a time when I struggling with anxiety and depression and that moment when it feels like it’s never going to end. Among the standout sounds of the single are KILKENNY’s signature vocals, which are immediately identifiable for listeners. Stylistically, the way he does his vocals is unlike any other artist in the game today.
