Catch the Vibes WIth Quianna Crute WIth Her New Single “Oh Adonai” From Her Album “Created to Worship”

In her debut album, “Created to Worship,” esteemed praise leader and choreographer Quianna Crute creates a yoke-breaking, deliverance-inducing musical worship experience. The first single, “My Love Letter” is just that… a powerful praise and worship composition that exposes Quianna’s heart for God in its rawest and most intimate state.

Quianna states: “I want my concerts to be the place where people come to get a message through the music that brings life to the dying, hope to the hopeless, and renewed faith to people who are on the brink of giving up on God. I want my concerts to be like a reservoir where people can come, be filled and have an experience with God that will change their lives forever, all over the world. I want to see people on their knees, arms and hands lifted, purging, and crying out to him… everyone on one accord worshiping and praising the true star, Jesus Christ.”

Laid back vibe with deeper message motivates fans on new single ‘Best of Me’

LOUIS, MO – Like many other artists who want to leave a legacy, St. Louis-based rapperSpaceGvngSaturn hopes that when people look back on his music many years from now, they recognize it as music that is timeless. He creates life-giving music that pulls from the pain of his past and uses it to inspire others to push through any adversity they might face. His latest single, “Best of Me,” is a great example of how SpaceGvng is using his platform to motivate others. With a laid-back flow and a vibe that’s undeniable, “Best of Me” is a great introduction not only to his forthcoming EP “So Far Gone 2,” but also to him as an artist.

“It’s a song that’s just me expressing myself and how much I’ve overcome and grown over the past few years,” he said. “I love that laid-back feeling, and this song is a vibe, for sure. But you can also hear my wordplay. I like to preach, I guess you could say. I like to draw people in. That’s why I’m chill and laid back, because it makes people lean in and listen to what I have to say.”

Coming from St. Louis, SpaceGvng said he’s very conscious of the “repetitive sound” coming out of the city. He dares to be different and tries to showcase a signature style that is unlike anything else coming out of St. Louis today. Raised in one of the more economically depressed neighborhoods of one of the most statistically violent cities in the world, SpaceGvng has seen his fair share of hardships and pain. He’s been in-and-out of jail, lost friends to the streets, and recently lost his mother. But he has also had some amazing accomplishments along the way. He’s started a family and is invested in the lives of his kids. He’s crafted a unique sound and style that is steadily gaining a fan following with each successive release. And the music videos he has developed have garnered such amazing buzz that each new release becomes an eagerly anticipated event.

“Raised in the slums, I felt like I had three options to get rich,” he said. “It was either sports, trapping or rapping. And life became easier once I figured out I could express my pain through my music. I’ve been rapping seriously for three years now, and I’m ready to take it to the next level.”

SpaceGvng said he’s planning to drop another EP this summer, and will continue to keep releasing videos and singles throughout the rest of the year.

Duchess Letitia / Madame Kapuscinska – Love Letter

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Madame Kapuscinska Brings Healing And Wholeness On Eternal

Knowing oneself is no easy feat. But Madame Kapuscinska knows herself. She’s been to the bottom of her flaws. She’s touched her own wounds to heal them. Now, Madame Kapuscinska brings empowerment and regeneration to her audience. “So many people tried to reject me,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “If someone’s not gonna open the door, I’m gonna make my own door.” Fiercely independent, Madame Kapuscinska handles every aspect of her music career. “ I do my own admin and my own graphics,” she said. “Music is a natural part of me. It helps me manage my mental health.”

Madame Kapuscinska’s latest EP Eternal features 4 honest tracks of pure humanity. She penned “Love Letter” as an homage to the transcendent nature of love, but also the anguish stemming from that love. “‘Love Letter’ is a frustrated mother and wife battling her own demons,” explained Madame Kapuscinska. “And trying to escape, but instead of trying to escape it’s released into music into art. Pain into passion. Creatively communicating expression.”

While “Love Letter” celebrates profound human connection, Madame Kapuscinska doesn’t eschew the uglier parts of life. Listeners ought to take heed of Madame Kapuscinska’s warning on “Online Romance.” Don’t dismiss it as “just another love song.” Instead, the song explores the dangerous side of human connection. “I was getting hit up online,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “I got messages from someone who said they were 15 minutes away from my home. Someone was romanticizing me based on what they think I’m like in my videos.”

But Madame Kapuscinska doesn’t dwell on discomfort or hardship. The single “Ascension” finds her cleansing the damage of the past. “After all the pain and all the trauma, I was about to give up,” said Madame Kapuscinska. “But just as I was about to let go and fall somebody caught me and brought me to the light.” In the song, Madame Kapuscinska also recalls a divine presence giving her aid. “An angel lifted me up and surrounded me with a warm embrace,” she said. “The song tells people to breathe. I’ve had my ascension. I’ve risen. You can have your ascension too. You too can rise.”

Madame Kapuscinska assured fans that they can expect a great deal of content from her. She has 2 music videos in the works for tracks from Eternal. Music-wise, she is working on a full-length reggae album. But Madame Kapuscinska is a lady of many talents. “I have 2 films coming up currently,” she said. “I have a line of gymwear. I’m expanding to jewelry and haircare. I’m working on my autobio. A documentary of my mental health is being sent to festivals.” Fans should tune into Madame Kapuscinska’s platforms for livestream performances and exclusive content.

Jerusalemm – America

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Conscious rapper Jerusalemm Slimm challenges notions of American society with new single ‘America’

DILLON, SC – Jerusalemm Slimm is a lyrical reporter and a self-proclaimed hip-hop activist. He’s an artist who is humbly and diligently seeking a righteous plan for true freedom with people. And through his music he is delivering his purpose to uplift, educate and inspire others. His latest single, “America,” is a catchy song about the struggles of life in America at the moment. Dealing with a lot of social issues in the country today, Jerusalemm challenges his audiences to consider the lifestyles they’ve taken for granted and pushes them to perhaps explore a different perspective.

“I’m still watching the news these days and seeing a whole lot of things transpiring,” he said. “We can’t like the America we’ve built and consciously say it’s a great state that we’ve built because it isn’t actually great for everyone. Every revolution needs a soundtrack, and I am the soundtrack to the revolution. I want to make a lasting impression with my music, and for it to last longer than I live. If something happens and they dig up my music years later, I hope they’ll say, ‘Wow! They listened to good music!’ I think they’d be able to identify the mood of the people from the music I create. I’m a storyteller, and I like to tell stories about the system – the good, the bad and the ugly. That’s what this song is about – the life and the struggles of our American society.”

Jerusalemm was fortunate to work hand-in-hand with legendary producer LES, who is known for his work in the past with Nas and Big Pun. The two of them collaborated on both “America” and the forthcoming album “Hidden Treasure,” which should launch across all streaming platforms in May.

Jerusalemm has come a long way since first watching his grandfather perform as part of the quartet The Dixie-aires. For as long as he can remember Jerusalemm has watched his grandfather navigate through the music industry. He’s joined him in the studio for recording sessions and stood back stage watching as his grandfather performed live. By age 12 Jerusalemm was writing his own material – mostly in the R&B realm. But about seven years ago he started getting more interested in hip-hop and discovered a true passion and natural talent for writing lyrics and spitting bars.

“I decided to be me instead of following trends and doing what everybody else is doing,” he said. “I like to be original. I like a lot of old-school hip-hop, but I’m also influenced by a lot of genres. I like Gospel and R&B and all types of different music that influences me. As I studied music and culture, I came across something that talked about how Jesus was black, and how people started referring to him as Jersulaemm Slim. I started using that name because he’s supposed to be the savior of hip-hop, and that’s what I want to do.”

Jerusalemm Slimm’s new single “America” can be found across all digital platforms, with the full album “Hidden Treasure” due to be released in mid-May. To listen to his music, or to follow him on social media, please visit the following links:

Falme D – Mission

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Falmé D wields witty words as a weapon with new EP ‘MottoMan

LOS ANGELES, CA – You’ve heard the saying, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” but for West Coast artist Falmé D, his pen is his sword. And he wields that weapon with expert precision on his new EP “MottoMan,” which is currently available across all digital platforms. The project features three standout singles that explore some of the experiences of his past and how those moments helped from him into the man he is today. They also serve as inspirational messages to the masses to help people embrace their natural gifts, talents and abilities to accomplish the dreams they want to chase in their lives.

The EP starts with “Sensei,” a bold song that gives fans a lot of quotable lyrics filled with real talk. Take the hook, for instance, which says, Falmé D the king … never mind, call me young sensei.” It’s a catchy hook that speaks on his goals and his past and the things he’s been through, and uses that as a spur to be a better man in the future.

The second track is “Fly,” which is more of an up-tempo groove that talks about wanting to take off and fly and be in the sky and have no worries or doubts in life. This leads into the final track, “Mission,” which is also the inspiration for the EP’s cover art, which was drawn by Falmé D’s good friend Levi

“It’s a song about how far we’ve come and how I always say I’m on a mission,” he said. “That’s what I’m all about. I’m faith-forward and on a mission. This song captures that and wraps up everything I’ve been saying for the past four or five years and shows that what I said I was going to do, I actually accomplished.”

Falmé D has been making music since his early teenage years. His mother was a singer who loved the Oldies, and his father was into hip-hop, which led to a diverse and eclectic range of musical interests for Falmé D. As such, his palette is a little different than one might expect from a hip-hop artist today. His voice and his flows aren’t like anyone else in the business. The beats he chooses and uses aren’t like anyone else. He prides himself on that, and has worked hard over the years to hone his craft and create something that is truly original.

“I hope my music is known for being unique and standing the test of time,” he said. “I go back and listen to the music I’ve dropped over the years, and a lot of it I know will stand the test of time. People are still listening to music I dropped three or four years ago, which makes me feel good. Even with sounds changing so much, my sound is still mine and will always be that way. I’m creating and standing strong among all the other music of the world. And people who need it will get it when they need it. That’s the mission.”

Falmé D said he has more music and videos coming in the next few months. To listen to his music, or to follow him on social media, please visit the following links:

Josiah Gray – Need To Know

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Masterful Production and Eclectic Genres Shine on Josiah Grey’s Debut LP (Miami)

On his debut album, A Blessing Money Can’t Buy, Josiah Grey celebrates his struggles and how he overcame them to truly value life as a blessing money can’t buy. Grey, a native Ecuadorian, may only be 20 years old, but he’s already come up through the ranks as a DJ, producer, and artist.

I did a lot of DJ’ing. My stepbrother used to produce so I would watch him and he taught me. I would DJ at house parties. He did bigger venues. He took a different route and did Hispanic music. I decided what I wanted to do and taught myself everything else after that,” says Grey. By middle school, he had a recording set up in his room. Later, he spent all his time after school at “YouTube University,” soaking up everything he could about production and sampling. A search for the right studio led him to House of Dreams, where he’s been perfecting the album for the past two years.

While Grey mainly focuses on rap, his album nods toward R&B and rock music, also featuring lines delivered in Spanish. The songs on this project are just a glimpse at the other music he’s waiting to release, which reveals his greater breadth of influences. He’s an eclectic listener, citing J. Cole and Nas as rap influences on his rap and classic rock artists like Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, and The Doors on his production, alongside The Alchemist, 9th Wonder, and Kanye West.

“Need to Know” showcases Grey’s R&B skills. “It was about a crush I had on this girl. We had a thing and it inspired me. I talk about other situations, but mainly that one. It’s a love song but it has another meaning to it. If you listen to it, it’s about how not to get too obsessed–but just a little bit,” he says. The song’s slow groove and clear vocals highlight its introspective nature.

Grey says, “The point-of-view of the album is me coming out as an artist. I talk about me and the album is about my struggles coming up.” “Josiah’s Journal” makes those struggles visceral. Built on a delicate guitar sample from Pink Floyd’s “Hey You,” the song quickly takes on an aggressive beat and confrontational flow.

The album ends, appropriately, with “Odyssey’s End.” “It’s the end of a journey, wrapping up the end of everything I’ve gone through. It’s about overcoming things and finding resolution. The vibe is about overcoming. Everybody says it’s like a song they’d hear at the end of the movie when the closing credits roll,” the artist says. This track is a rock song with a rap bridge, then becomes a hybrid, all with the help of Truee K. The lyrics celebrates the self-care and self-improvement that have guided Grey, and they’re also a prayer for safe passage forward.

A Blessing Money Can’t Buy is available on all streaming platforms.

Spirit – Ocean

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Spirit uses new single ‘Ocean’ to pass along message of healing and tranquility

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Island vibes meet R&B and Soul on the light and inviting new single from singer and songwriter Spirit. “Ocean” is a slow-jam island vibe with a steel drum foundation that works perfectly as a counterpart to Spirit’s deeply moving and soulful vocals. Written as an homage to her grandparents, who passed away within a couple of weeks of each other in 2011, the song explores the feelings of sadness and nostalgia that come when mourning a loved one. With a hook that says Just don’t go to the ocean without me, Spirit weaves words that evoke a deep sense of longing while also offering an element of hope.

“This is a song that is a tribute to my late grandparents,” Spirit said. “I do intuitive readings and my grandmother had the gift of clairvoyance that she never got to fully explore. On our last visit with them we were having a very emotional goodbye and we both had this intuitive feeling that it was the last goodbye. I even told my dad that something was different about that goodbye. My grandma went into a coma and passed away not long after that, and my grandpa died of a broken heart about two weeks later. As I was thinking through my feelings about it I was messing around on the piano and I came up with the hook and everything took off from there.”

At a very young age Spirit began her journey performing and writing deeply soulful music, often amusing crowds with the stark contrast between her powerful tenor vocals and petite physique and speaking voice. With a wealth of handwritten songs that she said are channeled by a higher power, she began recording in professional studios at around age 14. She said she has known from birth that it is her lifelong and eternal mission to transform a lifetime of immense pain into tranquility through music. She said she wants to manifest healing musical vibrations to share with the world and to use her platform to create positive change for all.

“I feel like I am on a mission,” she said. “I have to write down these message I get from God and pass them on in healing ways to others. I just know I have to do this before I die. I only write what I feel I’m being told to say in the world. And I’m only doing it for a good cause. I want it to be healing, uplifting, and to change some hearts that may have been hardened. I want to use my platform to create a lot of change. That’s all I want to do.”

In addition to “Ocean,” Spirit has another single called “Back In The Day” that has been getting a lot of attention from fans all over the U.S. She’s also working on an EP that she said will be released later this year.

Coco Kimmie – Shine

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Coco Kimmie continues to ‘Shine’ with latest hit single

VIRGINIA – In a time in the world’s history when there’s so much darkness, pain and suffering, it’s so much more important to shine a beacon of hope. That’s the message behind the latest hit single from fast-rising vocalist Coco Kimmie. “Shine” is an exploration of joy as it weaves wonderful ways of caring for each other by embracing natural gifts, talents and abilities and using those things to make the world a better place. With a vibe that’s indicate of greats like Beyonce and Lauryn Hill, Coco Kimmie’s style showcases a mastery of R&B, Hip-Hop and Gospel – and this new single is yet another shining example of how this multi-talented artist continues to deliver the hits.

“There’s so much uncertainty right now with what’s going on in the world and what we’re all experiencing that I believe the lesson of this song is applicable to all of us,” she said. “We need to keep shining and sharing our gifts with the world and being a beacon of light in a time when we need to have hope and to give other people hope. We’re going to have trials in life – that’s part of the experience and the journey. But don’t give up. Keep trying. We all have an internal strength that we can draw upon to continue to move forward in life and encourage one another.”

Born and raised in New Jersey, Coco Kimmie started singing as a young child in the church. She learned to play the piano by ear and was trained to play classical music as an adolescent. Her mom loved Gospel and James Brown, and her dad loved Blues and Country music, so she was exposed to several genres from an early age. When she attended college at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, she sang in the USAFA Cadet Gospel choir and recorded her first CD. She served for 21-plus years in the U.S. Air Force, and upon her retirement in 2015 was inspired to sing again by her daughter. She began singing with the Chocolate Factory Band in 2019, performing in places such as the Sunset Room National Harbor in Marlyand and some upscale private parties through Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. After working with some other artists in the industry, Coco Kimmie eventually started working on her own music and launched her solo career at the beginning of 2021 with her first single “Keep Ya Head Up.” She’s now following that up with “Shine,” and she said there’s plenty more music planned for this year.

“I’ve taken a different journey through life, and that journey didn’t initially focus on my creativity,” Kimmie said. “I’ve been active duty military for 21 years, but I’ve often thought about the fact that when I was younger my family would tell me I had a gift given to me by the Creator, and not to hide it but share it with the world. That came to the forefront during this whole global pandemic experience, and I drew on that as my source of strength. Singing was my saving grace during this difficult time, and now I’m jumping in with both feet and sharing it with the world. If I can inspire even one person, that’s a huge benefit to the world. There are so many people wondering when this is all gonna be over and when we can get back to some kind of normalcy. Things are going to change and there will be a new normal, but instead of focusing on that we should focus on what our purpose is and what our gifts are and sharing that with other people. Let’s help one another get through difficult times.”

In addition to “Shine,” Coco Kimmie said she’s looking to launch another single called “Be Strong” sometime early this summer. She also has an EP called “Namaste Free All Day” that will be released later this year.

Thug Misses – 99 U Ain’t 1

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Thug Misses pops off like a little gun while rapping on hot new single ’99 U Ain’t 1’

VALLEJO, CA – As a half-Black, half-Latina female artist trying to make her way in the music industry, Camille “Thug Misses” Carlos has faced her fair share of challenges. Like a lot of other women in the industry – especially those within the hip-hop genre – she feels like she hasn’t always gotten the credit she deserves. That’s not to say she’s proud or even bitter about some of the things she’s missed out on throughout her career – in fact, she’s quite humbled by the opportunities she’s been given. But to say that it’s been effortless and without challenge is inaccurate. She’s overcome a lot of adversity as a woman in the industry, which she chronicles on her latest hit single “99 U Ain’t 1.”

Inspired by the hit Jay-Z single “99 Problems,” the Thug Misses single features fellow artists Hitta Slim and Mistah F.A.B. It’s a contemporary rock meets hip-hop kind of East Coast old-school vibe. Thug Misses takes it back to the basics of the genre by spitting some solid bars on top of a drum-heavy beat enhanced by live instrumentation. She raps about how it feels to be a woman in the industry, how there seems to be a problem around every corner, and how she doesn’t have time for any new issues new people might bring to the table.

“One of the key things that makes me different as a female artist in hip-hop is that I’m not talking about sex, sex, sex,” she said. “The majority of the Top 10 female recording artists on major labels are heavily promoting sex. That’s just not my style. I’m actually writing about something – like back in the day when Tupac and Biggie used to write. But I’m not sounding outdated. I’m still touching on key subjects that are relevant and refreshing for today’s culture. I put a dope beat to it and I’m really saying something important.”

Some of her other recent songs have tackled issues of African American and Asian American injustices in this country. Others uplift women and praise men for what they’re doing to promote feminism. She even gets transparent and attempts to motivate others out of personal struggles by inspiring them to overcome challenges in life

Known as a woman who “really gasses” on the mic, Thug Misses has been in the industry for a minute. She started when she was younger after being discovered right out of high school by Shawn “C-Bo” Thomas of the West Coast Mafia Gang. She was with that label for about 10 years – writing and recording and earning her reputation as a aggressive and hard-hitting rapper. It was C-Bo who christened her with her stage name after telling her one day that “when you rap you pop off like a little gun.” She also loves to embrace the duality of her hair-braided-and-tatted-up exterior that sometimes she likes to dress up with makeup and high fashion. At the end of the day she said she hopes to mostly be known for her quality as a writer and rapper.

“I can really write,” she said. “I can be prolific. When you think of Tupac, people are still playing his music today. What he had to say never goes out of style. That’s what I want my music to be – never outdated. You can hear it today or 20 years from now and enjoy it.”

Thug Misses said she has more music that she’s creating with her business partners Jason Gilbert and Julius “LJ” Jackson of Eargazm Music Group, and encourages fans to keep an eye out for more singles this summer.

Brian McKnight Jr. – Sprung

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Brian McKnight Jr. bring Prince Charming back to music with new R&B-centered Pop song ‘Sprung’

LOS ANGELES, CA – Brian McKnigt Jr. is a well-known name in the music industry. Best recognized as legendary R&B and Soul artist Brian McKnight’s son, Brian Jr. has left his own indelible mark in music with hit singles and roles in films over the past decade-and-a-half. He’s had a lot of ups-and-downs in his life, but through it all he has maintained an inner drive to spread love and joy to the world through his artistic expression.

His latest single “Sprung” is another R&B-centered Pop track that continues that mission of inspiring others to love. It’s an R&B song with some bounce to it, inviting listeners to bop their heads while enjoying the sultry sounds of this amazing vocalist. Inspired by his girlfriend Adina, the song is about falling in love and recognizing how lucky you are when you find the perfect person for you.

“My brother (and producer) Duke was sending me beats and rhythms for this new project, and I was getting them right as I met the girl I’m with now,” Brian Jr. said. “All of the songs on this new album will be around the theme of falling in love, and this particular song is inspired by her. Once I met her, that was it. And because of her the whole theme of the album is going to be warm and happy and giving people something to dance to again and fall in love to. I want to bring Prince Charming back into the business. I would love for everyone to be butt naked by the third song.”

Though the album isn’t slated to be released until late summer, this first single is available across all streaming platforms. It not only sets up audiences for what’s to come, but also showcases the unique vulnerability Brian Jr. brings to the table. As a veteran of the game who also brings an education of the industry most other artists could only dream of, Brian Jr. has mastered the art of mixing genres and creating unique sounds and styles that help him to stand head and shoulders above other R&B and Pop artists out there. Add to that the voice, which has been undeniable from the beginning, and Brian Jr. is destined to leave as big of a mark – if not greater – than his father.

“Not too many artists get an in-depth look at the industry like I have,” he said. “This is literally what I was born into, and this project will showcase every single thing I can do. It’s packaged in a Pop way so that everyone in the household can listen to it. I think after this year everyone will finally realize I was born for this. It’s what I believe in my heart and soul that I was put here to do. I want people to feel something and take whatever they want from it. If the music can be as healing for the people who listen to it as it is for me to make it, then I’ve accomplished my goal.”

A music video for “Sprung” is also available for fans to enjoy, and Brian Jr. said he may release another single during the early part of the summer before launching the full album in late August or early September.
