Gospel-Duo The Stewarts Give God Praise In Upcoming Single “Faith”

September 20th- The chart-topping gospel duo The Stewarts are back with incredible music to make the year 2021 much brighter. Made up of brothers Del and Garry K, the group has charted several of the biggest playlists of the country, their music reaching nearly half a million listeners. Deemed in 2020, The Stewarts were seen by Spotify as being one of the hottest unsigned recording artists of 2020. And we all can see why.

The brother-and-brother have always gravitated towards music from a very young age. From playing bongos using an empty cereal box, to loving a gifted organ, the boys were talented from the very beginning. Their parents always encouraged their music journey, and the two credit their mother and father for helping them recognize their true passion. And the world is so glad that they did.

The group are inspired by some of the most legendary artists the industry has seen, from the Jackson 5, to Franklin Beverly & Maze, and The O’ Jays. We’re incorporating old school with new school. That comes with a softer sound that’s bringing positive lyrics.”-Garry K.

In addition to being motivated by their parents and music legends, God is the person that The Stewarts have based their career and lives off of. Their mission is to share the word of the lord to their thousands of listeners, in hopes that it will emotionally touch and change the lives of the people listening to it. They believe that even if one person hears God’s word, that it will start a change reaction to everyone. “We give all praise to God.And we just pray that God will lead us to the right people so that our music can make an impact.”-Del.

Now, Del and Garry are back in the music industry, with a plan to continue their religious mission with their fans. Not only are they releasing a brand-new single entitled “Stand”, but they are re-releasing their hit single “Faith” and releasing several more. We are so thankful for The Stewarts for standing out in the music industry, and truly touching the hearts of every single person that takes a second to hear.

Layla Telle – All I Want Is You, PT. 2

Layla Telle showcases beautiful vocals on hot new single ‘All I Want Is you, PT 2’

EASTON, MD – A hot new single from East Coast artist Layla Telle is creating quite a buzz. “All I Want Is You, PT 2” is a pure R&B hit with minor hints of hip-hop swag thanks to the feature of S. Romio. But more than anything the song is a showcase of Layla Telle’s amazing vocals. With a catchy hook and lyrics that are immediately relatable, this song is destined to become one of the most talked-about tracks of the year.

“The video is about being a clingy girlfriend and wanting your man’s attention,” Layla said. “You’re not getting it, though, because the guy is focusing on other stuff. When I made the song I was talking to a guy and we had been together for a minute but he was more about himself. He would go out and do stuff without telling me anything. He’d go to a party and I’d be at home and call him and be like, ‘Where you at?’ He didn’t communicate with me very well, and there were a lot of little things that he would do that would cause arguments. This song came out of those moments as I was learning about him and trying to decide what I could live with and what I couldn’t.”

Layla said she first started singing when she was 4 years old and hasn’t ever looked back. Born Kapree Batson, it was at age 4 that she had a very vivid dream where she was a successful global star who went by the name Layla Telle. The dream left such an imprint on her mind that even as she grew older and wiser, she never forgot that name or the hopes of one day making it big as an international superstar. So when she finally started to pursue a professional recording career, it only made sense to take on Layla Telle as her stage name.

It was after college that she got her first big break. After recording her first single “Queen,” she started dating a guy who was a group called Uneek Ones. One of the guys in that group was a professional engineer, and he encouraged her to continue making music. Together they went into the studio and he helped develop her sound into something truly special. The song they created together was called “I Feel Loved,” and the response from audiences online was favorable and led to her making more music.

“I have a unique voice,” she said. “There’s not really anyone you can compare me to because my style is so diverse. And at the end of the day I hope people recognize me for being passionate about my music and being a music hustler. I hope they see that I’m chill and I sing with feeling. You can feel my words when I sing.”

Layla isn’t stopping with music, either. She’s also set to join the cast of the new movie “Platinum Live TV The Movie 2,” for which her single will also serve as one of the main songs on the soundtrack. She’s also working on an EP called “No More Setbacks,” which she said should release in the next few months.

Carson Key – Break ups

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Videos

Carson Key parleys early success into push for international stardom

RICHMOND, VA – Carson Key is a name you need to have on your radar.

Prior to the COVID pandemic, this young artist from the East Coast was creating quite a buzz among the music industry. His song “Neverland” – a kind of remix of Ruth B’s “Lost Boy” – has seen nearly 15 million views on YouTube. He’s caught the attention of mega-artists Soulja Boy and Ramsey The Great – even collaborating with them on a song. He’s had meetings with major A&Rs and labels, and is primed to become one of the music industry’s hottest new international artists.

Fans who don’t know him can check out his latest hit single, “Break Ups,” across all streaming platforms. Inspired by a tragic experience between he and an ex-girlfriend, the song showcases his melodic style and raw talent as a rapper and all-around artist. As soon as listeners hear his unique sound and style, they’ll know why so many A&Rs have said that he’s difficult describe in the best of ways. He’s diverse, and his ability to weave words around any beat or instrumental is second-to-none.

“I’ll do a song like ‘Break Ups’ – which is more melodic than anything else – and then do a song like ‘Barkin’ – which is about to come out and is more Trap and upbeat – and people will see how my style is so unlike anything else out there,” Key said. “When I’m in the studio, I’m just writing how I feel in the moment. I don’t have a set genre. I just want listeners to be able to take the lyrics and apply to them any situation in their own lives.”

Key said he first got started with music when he was 14 years old. At the time, his older sister passed away and he dealt with a lot of PTSD from the traumatic experience. He started writing as a method to cope with those overwhelming feelings. Eventually he started putting his lyrics online, and people gave him some great feedback. By age 16 he was recording, and he hasn’t looked back since. Now at age 24 he’s trying to parley his early success into more of an international presence. He’s taking his songs like “Food For Thought” – which features Soulja Boy – and “Neverland” and using them to build momentum for a push into even larger audiences.

Following “Break Ups,” Key said he plans to drop an album called “Colder Than December.” Exploring the come-up and the challenges he and his team have had to overcome to get to where they are, the project will serve as the perfect winter mix. He said the first single from that project, also called “December,” should release in mid-to-late November ahead of the full album.

[New Video] Junior Jones “4 A Break”

Videos

I’m currently in Fayetteville Nc , I’ve always wrote music in my head to other peoples music . I would think about what I would say with my verses and what the song actually saying . I wanted to be able to keep the kind of music I like Alive so I did it on my own. My father was killed by his best friend …shot in the back of the head 6 times while getting out of his own car. I thought to myself after that if I die now no one will have my story… so I tell my story as I do my music…Junior is for him and Jones is to keep the family name going. My music sound I would say is “versatile”. I can do “Brenda’s Got a baby” or I can do a “hit em up”. I just let the beat speak to me and I catch a vibe.

My creative process consists of me mostly just thinking of what to say that my fans would love and how to shape it to where it fits the beat. Most of the people I would love to collaborate with have passed but I would have to say either Mariah Carey or the Weekend If I could change anything about the music industry it would be the realness of it, from the labels on down … there are so many fake people in the industry that it’s watered down and the fans can’t tell what is what now because of all the fake things that come with this industry.

The one message I would give my fans is make others smile and you will smile in return My favorite song to perform is my mane freestyle because not only is it lyrical I get to do my dance called the “Mane Shuffle” and the fans love it cause it’s different Next I’m dropping a few singles then my album. I’m currently working with a clothing company from Paris on some upcoming things. I’ve been booked for a few shows in September and just a lot of new music and great vibes.

Chibi LoyaltyOverLove Releases 2 Many Times Video @iamychibi

Videos

“I’m a rookie who sounds like I’ve been in the game for a long time; it’s just the quality of the music I’m making,” declares 17-year-old rapper Chibi. The Dallas, Texas native of Nigerian heritage used his 2020 to make a powerful introduction. His Fresh Ayr-produced Pain-Tence mixtape yielded the “Life Is Short” music video as well as melodic-yet-personal tracks like “Two Face” and “Easy To Die”—all achieving strong six figures at streaming. Currently wrapping up his debut EP, Chibi is all-in on music. “My life switched in one year. I remember when my mama was struggling to pay her rent. Seeing where I’m at now, I don’t want us ever to go back.”

Chibi translates to “heaven-sent,” . The idea of divinity is something the streetwise rapper carries with him. “I truly feel that I am heaven-sent. Through all of the predicaments that I’ve been in, I always had God with me; He guided me a lot,” shares the rapper. Chibi Okapara and his older brother grew up in North Dallas’ Josey Lane Apartments. “It was not a good place It was Section 8 Housing . There was not much in the way of resources. It was tough on my mama on my dad; it broke them apart.” When Chibi was 12, his father left the family and returned to Africa. Two years later, he died, right as Chibi was becoming a man. “Things happened to me early,” he admits. “I had to focus on growing up. I had to grind and challenge myself; I know that my dad would not want me to feel sad. I pushed myself to become a better person and provide for my mama. Music was one of the things that helped me cope.”

Music was big in Chibi’s apartment. He was raised on Bob Marley, Tupac, and Lil Wayne. “Whenever I had time, I wrote music,” he says. Songwriting took precedence after a hip-replacement Crushed the star athlete’s Dreams for soccer and basketball. Starting freshman year, Chibi began using makeshift studios to record his tracks. Although the sound quality was less than ideal, his early songs caught on fast. “I put snippets on my Instagram, and people were going crazy. I just wanted to succeed and make my mama proud. I knew we were poor—I seen it. So what can I do to provide? Music became something that I realized I was good at.”

While 2020’s pandemic sat Chibi down, the artist who goes by “YGB—Young Gutta Baby” used that time to sharpen his skills. He applied the rhythms of his heritage to his music, involved more of his singing voice, and worked on cadences—having studied Wayne, Andre 3000, and Eminem. “I became a better artist, and life goes with it.” “Two Face” finds Chibi’s voice booming over soft guitars as he sings and raps about betrayal. “Life is Short,” Chibi’s biggest music video to date, reflects on tragedy. “Those were pain melodies,” he says. In 2020, Chibi’s mentor and uncle stepped in to keep the talent away from pitfalls and on a positive path. “My uncle saw the potential and the hunger in me,” Chibi says. “He changed my life for the better.” Pain-Tence, the eight-song 2020 DIY project, reflects its title. Produced by Fresh Ayr, who has made songs with Eminem and Meek Mill, the release garnered over 1,000,000 streams across platforms.

Beginning with reflective single “Street Dreams,” Chibi’s 2021 promises to kick open new doors to the industry. March’s video single “Big Dawg” shows a confident star in the making, while its upcoming follow-up, “2 Many Times,” reveals the massive growth in Chibi’s delivery with his incredible ear for beats going new places. “I feel like every song I do should stand out,” shares the artist who blends wisdom in his writing with a youthful, energetic delivery. “Whenever I reach a ceiling, I try new things to break it.” From out of the gutter, Chibi is taking his career to glory.

Fre$h Releases “Yea Yeah” Official Music Video

Videos

LISTEN HERE

Fre$h is back with his first single/visual, “Yea Yeah” off his upcoming album #NothingChangedButTheName which drops December 3rd.
“When I thought about the video for this song I was instantly upset that my Porsche got totaled and wouldn’t be able to get a cameo. I reached out to my boy, Matt Leblanc, who owns a dealership with a bunch of old school Porsche’s and he allowed me to capture scenes there. I came up with the idea to stage a robbery using the concept from the movie “Point Break” wearing ex-president masks and to keep it fun we went with nerf guns instead of actual ones. With this being one of my favorites off the album and the first single it has to set the tone of what’s to be expected. #NothingChangedButTheName”

Yasmina – Moon

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

Finnish singer pairs ethereal vibes with vulnerable lyrics on new single ‘Moon’

VAASA, FINLAND – In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the Moon. As the tale goes, she drives her moon chariot across the heavens and was worshiped as the all-seeing eye of the night because the moon would always be visible in the night sky and no one could run from it. She shone bright with her magnificent silver light, which is an apt analogy for the way Yasmina Limam’s music is drawing attention from all over the world.

Hailing from a small hamlet in Finland, this ethereal vocalist with an electro-pop edge is bringing a very modern yet progressive sound to the global stage. Her new EP, “Moon,” which is slated to release later this year, embraces the symbology of the goddess Selene and serves as a platform for the kind of inspirational music this talented young artist wants to offer to the world.

“I want my music to be known for being authentically who I want to be and what I want to present myself as,” she said. “I never want to change my music for others. It’s coming straight out of me and I want people to notice that and hear that from my songs. One of the biggest things I would want to be known for is being vulnerable, and I want to bring that out in other people, as well.”

Yasmina has already released the first single from this forthcoming project, called “Mornings,” to high praise from industry insiders and fans alike. And now she’s following that up with the second single from the EP, which shares the name of the project “Moon.” The ethereal EDM vibe serves as the foundation for her spiritual journey, and the lyrics give audiences an inside peek into who she is as a woman and a person.

“I was reading about Selene and how powerful her feminine energy is,” Yasmina said. “I loved her story and wanted to use that in the song. I just started writing from the heart, and next thing I know it was there. It’s pretty poetic, and there are a lot of hidden messages behind the lyrics. I consider myself a pretty spiritual person and I like to use a lot of spirituality in my songs. I like to use a lot of deeper messages and bring out that spiritual view of things, while also offering healing and sharing with others the vibe it brings to me when I sing it.”

“Moon” is currently available to stream on all major platforms.

3Fifs – Season of the Fall

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo, Videos

History buff uses pain of the past to illuminate ills of the future with lyrical new vibe on fresh single

PALM BEACH, FL – Many people unfamiliar with the foundation of the United States of America don’t realize that part of the provision of the original Constitution was to marginalize slaves and people of color by only considering them to be equal to three-fifths of a person. It’s a fact of American history that still echoes strongly in today’s culture and society, and as such it’s one of many facets upon which fast-rising Florida-based artist 3Fifs draws through his music.

The socially conscious rapper brings a burst of energy and entertainment with his catchy grooves and infectious beats. Using the lessons of the past as foundation for challenging and through-provoking lyrics, 3Fifs has been turning heads for the better part of the past decade with his impressive blend of entertaining vibes. Drawing comparisons to legends such as Ludacris and Kurupt, 3Fifs has circled the edges of notoriety since he first burst onto the scene in 2013. That year, the St. Louis born artist was nominated “Freshman of the Year” at the SLUMFEST Awards. A year later, he was one of 14 Us-born artists to perform at Canadian Music Week, and in 2016, he won a songwriters award for his hit single “Blind the Sun.” Since reemerging on the scene in July with a featured verse on the local hit “Do You Wanna,” Fifs’ talents caught the eye of Florida legend Trick Daddy.

Today, this young hip-hop artist is bringing his unique sound and style to the table with a string of new singles that are creating quite a buzz among a wide variety of audiences. His latest single, “Season of the Fall,” is currently available on all streaming platforms and shares a message of love and loss and betrayal at the deepest level.

“The whole message of the song is about how sometimes the ones closest to you are the ones who end up stabbing you in the back,” 3Fifs said. “It’s repeating a view of what I’ve seen over the past few years with relationships with people I thought were good friends and kind of the culmination of all that. It was inspired by my cousin who got killed earlier this year by his girlfriend. He and I came into this music thing together and we grew up like brothers. I took a break from music for a while because I ended up getting married and was really focused on trying to take care of my wife and family through the more conventional route. But when he got killed it’s what prompted me to pursue music again. It’s time to make this happen.”

3Fifs said he hopes people will come to recognize him as an artist who is always real and who relates with others through a wide variety of shared experiences. He said he considers himself to be an everyday guy to whom people can relate, and he wants his music to give people hope and motivation.
