My goal is to better my writing and performance to express the emotions in my music. I feel like my style is just me, I talk about things that are relatable and I speak on many parts of who I am.

I’ve only been making music for almost a year, it was just something I enjoyed. I never actually ever considered going to record the songs I wrote. They were just meant for me really. But then others started to hear them and like them so I just started recording them. I’m 21, and from Cincinnati. I feel like I am still figuring out my style, but I make music to amuse myself. Other people liking my music is just an added on bonus. If someone else can relate to my song and enjoy it, that’s a dope feeling and I’m thankful and appreciate all the support.

(June 19th, 2020) Artist Yung Pipa from Hawthorne, FL is back! ‘Trauma’ his new mixtape is a great follow up for those who heard ‘GCO Shyt’ and were wanting more. This is a project that bleeds Yung Pipa. Tracks filled with his stories about his own real life, hence the name ‘Trauma’. You’ll finally get a chance to really KNOW Yung Pipa and what he’s overcome to be the artist he is today.

The project was mixed/mastered by Swanz Beats. When we asked Yung Pipa about the project title he said ‘There are a lot of things in life that will serve you up trauma…it’s up to you on how you grow from it’. Truer words could be never spoken and he’s living proof of that!!

[Single] @WavyBanx ‘My Fault’

Eric Johnson, also known as Wavy Banx is a Greensboro, North Carolina native currently residing in Atlanta, GA.

After graduating from college in North Carolina, Banx wasn’t surrounded around much motivation. Many of his childhood friends either turned to drugs or the streets, so Banx had to make a decision on the type of person who he wanted to become.

Isolating himself, he began to pursue and practice music as a way to channel his frustrations. Many people who graduated knew what they wanted to do, but it just wasn’t the same for Banx. Music opened up another avenue for him to express himself.

He practiced the craft by taking up freestyling and other styles of music. He also found lots of inspiration from his childhood when his dad would send him CDs to listen to while he was deployed. Fast-forward, Banx has released a few singles to the public and plans to release more music and videos to garner the attention of industry heads.

When asked about his inspiration, he says he’s inspired by many artists but most importantly, Lil Wayne, Tupac, and Juicy J. Versatility is important to Banx, so he says he loves to create music that can put you into various moods. He plans to release his first project “Rachet and Rewarding” and also plans to roll-out more content for his growing fanbase.

It’s been a few months since we’ve heard from the Orlando homie Playboy Ronnie. Its always a special event when he sends over new material to review. Last time we ran across each other he sent over “Hard Enough” which now has more than 10K streams and growing on Sound Cloud. This time he sent us not one, but two EP’s, a new single, and an eye catching new video for yet another single.

Both EP’s titled “Say Less” and “Say More” feature 5 tracks each, the main singles are “Guns And Butter” and “Mercy“. Its a dope collection of music, the Orlando native taps in and brings the summertime vibes from Florida.

I took some time to listen to both projects. I hear a distinct difference between these projects when I sat back and tuned in.
