Khemistry Sets The Vibes WIth New Music “In My Eyes ft Alonda Rich” & “Tables Turn ft Tha Writa”

Women in Hip Hop are often looked at with skepticism about their abilities as lyricists. Khemistry used those doubts to fuel her ambition. Believing that SHE must create a path to her goal has been her blueprint. Khemistry was born in Hinsdale, IL on November 15th, 1988. Music has always been apart of Khemistry’s life. Khemistry could mimic the lyrics of any male rapper, but when she discovered MC Lyte and Queen Latifah, she knew there was a place for her in rap music. They both overcame rough circumstances and conquered the music industry, Khemistry saw herself in them, and believed she could as well. She faced a lot of tragic in her life, but nothing stopped her from pursuing her dreams. It wasn’t until after the loss of her Nanna August 24th, 2008 and the recent violent murder of her cousin September 21st, 2016 that she really began pursuing a career in music full time. Her cousin would often say “ForeverWorkin”, his words became Khemistry’s mantra, and ForeverWorkinEntertainment was born. The losses she suffered made her determined to succeed for her family.

When asked how her music should be classified. Khemistry said, “My music is a fusion of Hip Hop and R&B. I have something smooth you can groove to, and I have up tempo hits for the club.” Khemistry wants people to be empowered, challenged, and feel love through her music. Khemistry wants people to be empowered, challenged, and feel love through her music. She believes music is a spiritual experience and strives to connect with fans on that level.

Khemistry gained notoriety from her first single in 2015 “Keep Her” which spoke about treating a lover right. Her single “Shame On U” released in summer 2017 was also highly revered about having people in your circle who do not believe in you. Then she released her single titled “Like Woah” which was a female version of Black Robs “Like Whoa” from Bad Boys. She then on March 31st, 2019 Released her a city single “Chicago My City ft Sinatris” which breaks down Khemistry’s love for Chicago. Kayy Moneyy aka Rich Girl Kayy ft. Kay Rich – “High Fashion Girl” (From Da Hood)

Videos

55th and Michigan’s Garfield area by way of Rich Girl Kayy aka Kay Moneyy, Meets Ida B Wells housing project descendant Kay Rich. The Chicago birthed duo “THEE RICH GIRLS” statistically expected to experience nothing but poverty and a dim future if not an early demise has set out to do the exact opposite dropping not only the unexpected single High Fashion Girl (From Da Hood) but also on top of that, having a whole cosmetic line named after them. Believe it or not, this is partly their grandmothers doing as  a part of her genuine effort to save her grandchildren from their existing street lifestyle. Its one thing to be in a less than favorable environment and its another thing to be involved in it. From hearing about the loss of their friends to gun violence to Kay Moneyy singing at the funeral of lost friends and that same funeral being shot up. “I am desperate to help them find another way”- Kelli Rich (Grandmother). Showing interest in Music primarily along with fashion and makeup, a light bulb went off. The girls teamed up with Kelli Rich & Jamie Principle to produce what would be the girls first recorded single.

Excited about the outcome, they would then team up with iKan Creations for what would turn out to be an epic visual for their new song HIGH FASHION GIRL (from da hood). In the video the girls made it a point to display their high fashion dress code, natural street edge and make up capabilities. “We are high fashion girls with a rich mind set but don’t get it twisted, we are not there yet but we do get to the money and we are hungry, I mean hell everyday in Chicago feels like survival mode and all I know is to do what ever it takes”- Rich Girl Kayy. “Tt was hard to imagine outside of Chicago until going one day but that was just to visit somewhere now I am trying to imagine what it would be like to actually make it out”- Kay Rich The hustling cousins are now also committed to the grind musically and cosmetically by any means necessary. Rap music is in for a treat following this duo. For the love of hip hop in a day and age where as long as its hot then you will have a audience and these girls the the talent that delivers.

Videos

Teno Songwriter is a platinum-selling songwriter that has to his credit one of the most influential and successful records of our culture; “Freak Me” performed by multi-platinum R&B recording artists SILK, penned by Teno Songwriter and Keith Sweat.

To commemorate the 30 year anniversary of Freak Me, Teno Songwriter has brought us “Boss Chick”, to say “thank you” and pay homage to all the beautiful Boss Chicks who have supported “Freak Me” throughout the years. Teno Songwriter has worked with countless numbers of producers and artists throughout his music career.

A MASTER at writing HOOKS, Teno encourages artists to write by allowing them room to pen their own verses on his songs. Teno Songwriter resides in a suburb of Atlanta with his wife and two children where he continues to write some of the most beautiful songs of his career.

Boss Chick is a commemorative song honoring the 30-year anniversary of the platinum hit “Freak Me” penned by Teno Songwriter and Keith Sweat, for the multi-platinum singing group SILK. Boss Chick is a sexy, base-heavy R&B/HipHop masterpiece that places women on the pedestal they deserve to stand on. Women are taking care of their families, leading our country and major corporations as well as running their own businesses, yet there’s no music saying to them, “great job, thank you and I appreciate you”. Boss Chick pays homage to women while demanding they be recognized and treated as a Boss Chick. More than just a song, Boss Chick is a movement dedicated to all women, regardless of creed, color, or race.
