Ryan Alexander is a producer, artist, musician, and Recording Academy member who has been playing piano for 17 years, and drums for 18. Ryan attended Columbia College Chicago from 2010 to 2011, where he began producing and releasing music for other artists. Some of Ryan’s notable achievements to date include performing an opening set for Naughty By Nature, having a song performed and written by him placed in Just A Friend, a film now available on Amazon Prime, and performing as a spotlight artist for Viola Davis’ “The March” exhibit premiere in collaboration with Time Magazine.

Ryan has served as an assistant to former midwest chapter president of the Recording Academy, Mark Hubbard. He’s collaborated with over 100 local artists and musicians. He is the curator of the cover series #CoversWithRyanAlexander found on YouTube and other social media platforms. Ryan has headlined two events at Chicago’s House of Blues Foundation Room and has had multiple performances at Chicago’s Soho House.

“It’s RA Productions” was created by Ryan, under which he released his first solo album, Inspired By You, in 2020. Super Bae, a single off of the album, has been played and in rotation on Power92 Chicago since its release. Ryan’s performance history has spanned from numerous SoFar shows in various cities, frequently performing for the “Live @ Mariano’s” series and other performances at premium Chicago venues. He’s also played the piano and keyboard accompanying prominent artists, Oliv Blu on her audition for The Voice, and Matt Muse in various performances including one in Toronto, Canada.

The Swagrman story is one of struggle and enlightenment, tied to a special relationship with Swaggy Wolfdog.

Swagrman was fascinated by DJing as a child. He enjoyed writing poetry with Grandpa Fred. He loved the idea of creating and sharing music that told stories. Coming from a loving family that had limited means, he didn’t have access to equipment or opportunities required to realize his dream and started to lose hope.

Then Swagrman was asked to rescue a puppy that needed a home. The puppy was the last one left of the litter, a runt. Understanding the loneliness the puppy felt, he decided to adopt it. Little did he know Swaggy was about to change his life.

Swagrman developed a habit of uploading content on social media and naturally began featuring “Swaggy Wolfdog” which confused his fans, who believed the dog was Swagrman. The original content Swagrman posted, some featuring his fun loving best friend Swaggy Wolfdog, inspired a movement to adopt pets, especially the ones left behind or overlooked. With the public eye on Swaggy Wolfdog, Swagrman was able to focus on his art and create music.

N0bdy is a creative music artist from the Austin community of Chicago. After watching his father create music throughout his whole childhood, he developed a passion for music. He would experiment on garage band throughout his preteen years, Writing little songs almost everyday. Until he was old enough to save money for a desktop. I wrote this song during a very dark time. I vividly remember writing this song in the car (while I was driving) and I have never done that before. Driving a rental car because I had recently just totaled my Honda Accord in a drinking and driving accident. Living away from family in KC for four years I made some pretty bad decisions that resulted in blessings disguised as curses. Generally, I am always the most positive person I know but this song came from a really dark place when I needed to vent. This song helped reinvent my perspective on music, as I should use music as therapy before anything. If you get a second chance, don’t squander it. My life could have ended in numerous ways on the day of the accident.
