“Like This” is Chris Elijah’s foray into the sometimes daunting views of society and life for many people. He takes a page right of the Book of Ecclesiastes and even concludes his verse quoting Ecclesiastes 1:9. Elijah enlisted the help of fellow rapper, Donk. Donk provides a detailed view into the life of many of the disenfranchised. He ultimately provides the listeners a message of hope through faith, unity, and love. “Like This” is the perfect marriage of substance, production, and melody. In myspace generation, it was known to blow up an indie with the most song plays on a single song upload on myspace page, kinda how instagram is today! A.L.L.I.A.S. an indie outta Meridian Mississippi, and now residing in Oklahoma whom was that #1 indie in the Myspace era, is coming back with a Vengeance. He is coming in with some heat, with his newest single drop “No Plugins” a single off of his “Trxll Motivation” mixtape hosted by @djbiggrich coming soon!
I wrote No Plugins during a tough time in my life, where I found myself while dealing with life issues regarding my intake on the world and the people around me that were incorporated in my life, some good some bad. During this time I was able to rise above the trials and tribulations I was dealing with, this is a piece of me and hopefully it helps someone that can relate. – A.L.L.I.A.S. #NoPlugIns
This is a song by a Canadian creative artist with a unique sound, molded through the
inspirations from classic rock’s, poetic touch, to today’s mainstream Hip Hop. Rising artist Levy
writes, records, and mixes his very own music.
“This song talks about missing a girl, the “girl” is truly bigger than that, it’s life and feeling lost
and confused. “Dazed and Confused” is a perfect term for it, like the song title by Led Zeppelin. From
my very own thoughts and ideas, swimming inside of me, this is Lonely Sheep (5am)”. – Levy
