West Coast Folk Rock band Daniel Millers Coffee Shop drops nostalgic new single ‘Cincinnati’

FRIDAY HARBOR, WA – A mixture of sounds within the Folk Rock and Americana realm take center stage on a new single from West Coast artist Daniel Miller who hails from Friday Harbor which is the most northwestern county in the continental USA. “Cincinnati” is a fusion of Rock, Pop, Folk and Indie genres in one perfect nostalgic track. Currently available across all streaming platforms, “Cincinnati” is about a person who moved from the Midwest to the Golden Coast of California to build a new life but finds himself remembering his old life and the things that helped him become who he is today.

“It has a nice story to it that fits right in the Folk/Pop range,” Miller said. “It’s about a guy who loves it in California but knows that he might move back to Cincinnati someday. My style is Folk, Pop and Rock, but more than anything else, I want my music to be known for being good story songs – like Neil Young or Lady Gaga. I make music that has a good message, but sometimes also just make music for fun.”

Miller is a singer and songwriter who is from the Pacific Northwest. “Cincinnati” is just one of some songs he has ready to release this year under the umbrella of “Daniel Miller’s Coffee Shop” – a collective that he said evokes a certain kind of feel when you hear it.

“I think it’s a cool name for a band,” he said. “I’ve owned an antique store, but I’ve never owned a coffee shop. But I love coffee shops, I visit one every morning. And I believe my music gives off a vibe that fits perfectly in that coffee shop environment.”

Miller said he loves performing live even more than recording, and his latest single will be perfect for playing in front of audiences as soon as the quarantine is lifted and live events are open again. Other songs like “Vintage Summer” and “She Wants to be a Rockstar” are also perfect for live audiences, he said, and both will have a music video in coming months. He also worked with DeDe Troit from the Punk Rock band UXA to do a remix of “She Wants to be a Rockstar.”

“I have always loved songwriting and singing, and this is the time to get my songs out there more than I ever have before,” he said. “I’ve also done some acting. I had a small scene with Andy Griffith many years ago and a small part in a Jim Carey movie. But my main passion is recording and doing live performances. I think my music will really resonate with people and I’m excited to get it out there.”

CrazyLuck – On God

New single ‘Money Talk’ from CrazyLuck showcases Midwest sound mixed with East Coast vibes

BOSTON, MA – When Russell Gordon and Tommy Ketsith were kids growing up in Michigan, they both bonded over a love of music. Gordon’s father was a musician who went by the name Lucky, and Tommy, also had family members who were into music. At age 7, Tommy wrote a rap for his friend and Gordon said that’s the moment he chose to pursue music as a career. But Tommy moved away to Massachusetts and the two lost touch.

Fast forward 12 years. Gordon’s father has passed away and he has taken the moniker CrazyLuck as his stage name in honor of his dad. He’s convinced by his sister to move to the East Coast to pursue music. He moved to a town just outside Boston, a mere 30 minutes from where Tommy lives. The two of them haven’t talked for more than 12 years. But almost as if it’s divine providence, the two run into each other one day. The friendship that started when they were kids rekindled immediately, and their shared love of music immediately came to the forefront. Next thing they know they’re in the studio working on music together and their latest single “Money Talk” is the testament to their natural talent.

Currently available across all streaming platforms, “Money Talk” is a wakeup call to the world. With an upbeat vibe and some in-your-face lyrics, CrazyLuck and O.T Tommy bring a song that is gaining some major traction all up and down the East Coast.

“It’s a song about getting people to wake up and understand that you can’t move or do anything without money,” CrazyLuck said. “It’s a get-out-there-and-wake-up kind of song that will encourage people to invest their money and make good decisions.”

The song also showcases the signature style of these two artists – with CrazyLuck’s Midwest flow and delivery, and O.T. Tommy’s catchy hooks and upbeat rhythms. CrazyLuck said Detroit has a whole different swag and sound to it which he brings to the table and combines with other East Coast sounds and Midwest vibes. The two write about anything and everything – from love songs to money to stressful situations and anything else they think people might connect with. In just a few months, they’ve written hundreds of songs that they’re ready to release to the world. 2021 will see many of those singles come to light.

“We want our music to be known for motivation and opening people’s eyes,” O.T. Tommy said. “We’re trying to get people to see that there’s a brighter side to life. The grass is greener sometimes. We’ve done it. So our music is about bettering yourself and always opening your mind. Always looking for a higher road. Never give up on yourself.”

The next single from CrazyLuck and O.T. Tommy will be “New Bag,” an upbeat club banger that also encourages people to hustle in respectable ways. That will join “On God” and “Warrior,” two singles that are already available across all streaming platforms.

M’Zayy – Compete

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo

M’Zayy Has No Hard Feelings about Crushing Opposition

Remember the old adage about the irresistible force meeting the immovable object? M’Zayy is that irresistible force. And he has yet to encounter anything to hold him in place. With fire in his soul and grit in his gut, M’Zayy treads over all obstacles. Nothing hinders him from honing his craft each day. “I ain’t sittin’ on no couch, bitch,” M’Zayy decrees on “Got It On Me,” the final track on his latest album No Hard Feelings.

“When I get up in the morning, I always try to find something to do,” said M’Zayy, detailing his daily work routine. “Whatever I have to do to invest in myself, I do. It’s slow; it’s like stocks. It takes your money a long time to build up. But once it builds, you get it,” he explained. An athlete in his youth, M’Zayy learned to implement consistency as a life skill. Doubted by peers early in his career, M’Zayy used their shade to fuel his own artistic development. “I’m a quick learner, he said, “I’ve become very consistent, and I’m just now starting to understand the music industry. All the challenges I’ve seen have made me better.”

M’Zayy’s hard focus has returned massive dividends. Not even a year into his recording career, his song “Broken” has accrued over 1 million streams on Soundcloud. “I had that song in my notes,” said M’Zayy. “I memorized it. When I got in front of the mic for the first time, I didn’t even need my phone.” Unfazed, M’Zayy persisted. “That was a 1-take track. Just me, pouring my heart out…”

While music is close to M’Zayy’s heart, business is equally important. Currently majoring in business marketing informs M’Zayy’s artistic expression. “This industry is based off business. It’s all about getting the right connects,” he commented. “It’s all about sales. If you don’t market your music, you don’t make sales.” Having a clear vision of his content, M’Zayy surrounds himself with a dedicated team of professionals. He credits Juranamo Jones of the DMV Rap industry for motivating and influencing him and Dave Harris for helping him produce his music. “I’ve worked with them for a long time,” said M’Zayy “.They send me beats so I can work on them and have rights to them.”

On his latest album No Hard FeelingsM’Zayy takes no prisoners. With stoic perseverance, he levels everything in his path. “I’m constantly trying to drop songs,” M’Zayy said, “I want people to say, ‘look at this kid, working.’ And then I want them to figure out my age and be like, ‘wow, that’s crazy!’” Don’t let his age fool you. M’Zayy isn’t here just for fun. He is dead serious about his music and his business. “I’m ready to face the industry head-on,” he declared. “I want to be that man that walks in and gets shit done. I want to make clear to people that nothing is impossible.”

Tonikk4100 – Real Factor

New artist Tonikk4100 shines a light on underbelly of Las Vegas life with new single ‘Real Factor’

LAS VEGAS, NV – A young artist out of the desert of the American West is aiming to put Las Vegas on the map. Tonikk4100 is a dedicated and extremely talented 23-year-old artist who grew up on the 4100 block of Arville Street in Las Vegas’ west side. He had deep ties to the 8 Deuce clique, and he and his friends are on a mission to show people that there’s a life beyond the glitz and glamour that most people see on TV when it comes to Las Vegas.

His latest single, “Real Factor,” puts the nitty gritty street side of Vegas on display. Showcasing his unique ability to let flow some lyrics, the song is a perfect introduction to his signature sound. Also serving as the debut single from his soon-to-be-released EP, “From the 41 to the 45,” the track is an aggressive, in-your-face take on the underbelly of Vegas life.

“People call it Sin City, and we want to show people the life behind The Strip that most people don’t know about or hear about,” he said. “It’s a city full of gangs. There’s a gang on every block. People don’t get to see that. People come here to get money in the casinos, and that’s not all there is to this city. It’s crazy. It’s turnt up. And it’s why I’m trying to put the city on the map.”

Working in conjunction with fellow Hip Hop Vegas artists Baby Flock and Actah Fully, Tonikk4100 explores a wide range of scenarios on his new EP. From hustling to witty punchlines found on the Vegas streets, to relationships and everything else in between, “From the 41 to the 45” gives listeners a very transparent and up-close-and-personal look at Tonikk’s life. Along the way, listeners will get to know his gritty and original style.

“If anyone hears my music, they’ll immediately get what I’m trying to do,” Tonikk said. “It’s too unique to explain. It’s just good music. It’s music that’s all about me trying to get this money, to be honest. I’m trying to make music people like. I feel like I’m clever when it comes to writing – I’m on flow and on point. And I’m always making something that people can relate to.”

“Real Factor” is currently available across all streaming platforms, while “From the 41 to the 45” is set to be released this June.

Quiet Storm: 27 Years in Radio, “Donni-Oh!” Has Moved From The Community To “Behind The Walls”

Industry Spotlight

Quiet Storm: 27 Years in Radio, “Donni-Oh!” Has Moved From The Community To “Behind The Walls”
Through his 27 year journey in radio and beyond, Dondre’ “Donni-Oh!” Phoenix has become somewhat of a “quiet storm”. From locally to nationally, “Donni-Oh!” has quietly put together a consistent and impactful career. One in which many may not know of.
I just want to leave this earth having made a difference.. a positive impact“, says Phoenix. He’s done that… and some.
Before we dive into Phoenix utilizing the radio medium as a platform to create a positive impact, here’s a snapshot of his 27 year radio journey that has laid down that foundation.
Believe it or not, in March of 1994, just to get his foot in the door, Phoenix started out as a weekend on-air personality on WCEM Continuous Country AM-1240 in Cambridge, MD. He then moved over to it’s sister station, Mix 106.3 From 1995-1998.
During those years (1994-99), starting at age 23, he wore many hats outside of radio, owning a clothing store (Flavaz; Easton, MD) for several years, playing with the Atlanta Hawks NBA Summer League team and playing semi-pro basketball as well. A newborn daughter had arrived and he had gotten married. A son was born as well. So yea, needless to say, the young guy’s plate was stacked.

In 1999 Phoenix moved on to Magic 98.9 in Salisbury for 2 years, before moving to Philadelphia to assist with public relations for his friend and college basketball (UMES) teammate Mike Harris’ entertainment management company, Best Sports & Entertainment (now Best Sports Consultants).

Through the experience and network connections while with Best Sports Consultants, in 2000 Phoenix launched Flavaz Promotions.
Mike is the consummate professional. He taught me a lot about relationships and how very important it is as it pertains to business“, says Phoenix.
They organized, provided entertainment and product placement for events in the Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC and Salisbury, MD areas.
From 2002-2004 Flavaz Promotions provided gift bags for the nominees at the BET Awards. In 2008, Flavaz also organized “A Tribute To Bernie Mac Comedy Show” hosted by legendary comedian Chris “The Mayor of Rap City” Thomas and headlined by Reginald “Bruh-Man” Ballard (Martin, Bernie Mac Show).
I interviewed Chris when I had my show on XM. We exchanged numbers and stayed in contact through the years. I hit him up about him putting together a comedy show for me and he said, say no more… and he made it happen. It was an incredible honor to do the show in tribute to the legendary Bernie Mac. Reggie “Bru-Man” provided various items of Bernie Mac’s to “raffle-away” at the show. It was absolutely incredible!“, says Phoenix.
Rewinding back just a bit, in June 2002, Phoenix was hired as a mix show DJ at “The Flow” on XM Satellite Radio in D.C. Sept 2002 he became the host of his own show, The Essence, on The Flow channel, weekdays 4pm-9pm.
He became assistant music director of the “The Flow”, Sept 2003.
With the merging of Sirius and XM in 2008, now SiriusXM, the Flow’s channel name was changed to Heart & Soul.
In May 2004, Phoenix went on to WPGC 95.5 to do overnights.
Upon his return to Salisbury’s Magic 98.9 in February 2006, he launched ItzYourzRadio.
After being at several different radio stations and seeing multiple program formats throughout the industry, I had seen a void in regards to consistently recognizing local/unsigned talent“, says Phoenix.
So his intent with ItzYourzRadio was to, in part, provide a platform for local/unsigned recording artists to display their talents.
With ItzYourzRadio on Magic 98.9, Phoenix coordinated a show that would spotlight local/unsigned artists. Phoenix played their music and interviewed select talent as well. It enabled the local area to become familiar with and support some of the talent who were within the untapped local music scene.
As the platform grew, it went beyond local artists and included national and international recording artists who were unsigned.

In June of 2015, Phoenix launched his own internet radio station through Tunein. October of 2020, he moved the station to a different server and became certified with BMI, ASCAP and SoundExchange. That certification allows the artists who are registered with them to receive royalties based on the amount of radio spins the artists receive on ItzYourzRadio.

ItzYourzRadio is also monitored by Digital Radio Tracker (DRT), which tracks and records each song that is played. The DRT charts are the most popular monitored source for digital radio stations in the world.
February 26, 2017 ItzYourzRadio returned to FM with “ItzYourzRadioLive” on Live 97.5 in Salisbury, MD. Phoenix continued its same local/national unsigned recording artist spotlight segment. Hosted by Dondre’ “Donni-Oh!” Phoenix, he added more talent to the platform, which includes co-host, Jonathan “J-Mo” Molock, three DJ’s (DJ Cheese, DJ Ill Kid and DJ Randy P), a sports reporter (Devon “POV” Mason), guest fill-in (Michael “B-Lou” Butler), specialty segments saluting musical legends and guest interviews, both locally and nationally.
One thing that I have always done is give people an opportunity. Someone gave me an opportunity…. Ron Banks believed enough in me to bring me onboard when he decided to launch Live 97.5 FM… If I’m in position to eat, so are my people,” Phoenix says.
Some of the local recording artist guests have included Devon Beck, LegaCi, Fatal Da Cannon, King Aboriginal, Loreal Lewis, SB, Hots, Uncle Nitty, Jade and more.

Local authors on the show have included Lewanda Jackson, Michelle Boulden-Hammond, Robin Lake, Etta Bland, Ty Bolden and more.

National interviews have included Judge Joe Brown, Emory Jones (Rocnation Apparel), Eric Nolan (of the legendary O’Jay’s), Agnez Mo (International Pop Star), Monifah (singer and R&B Divas reality show star), Daniel “Booby” Gibson (former NBA player and TV Reality star), Ochino Sparks (hip-hop artist formerly of Rocafella Records), Smooth B (hip-hop artist from the legendary group Nice & Smooth), Bill Pettaway (legendary music producer), and Simone Green (former Chief Photographer of Death Row Records), amongst many others.
During the 2020 election, ItzYourzRadioLive utilized it’s platform to allow local candidates to share their message. ItzYourzRadioLive’s Jonathan “J-Mo” Molock, currently a Baltimore resident, but a Cambridge, MD native, is heavily engaged in the social and political activism of his hometown Cambridge, MD. For the 2020 local elections, he was on the campaign team of LaJan Cephas.
We discuss politics quite often on our show, but we wanted to get more involved and become more engaged in the political process. I became a member of the National Black Agenda Consortium and Talbot Rising, two social activist groups. Jonathan led an effort to hold local slumlords accountable and joined city council candidate LaJan Cephas’ campaign team“, Phoenix says.
ItzYourzRadioLive allowed several candidates to come on the show and share their proposed policies. ItzYourzRadioLive also opened the phone lines and allowed listeners to call-in to voice their concerns and ask the candidates questions. It bridged the gap between candidates and the community, which allowed the voting community to have some input into the voting process. Cambridge, MD had the largest local election turn out in its history.
The platform helped propel victories for local candidates LaJan Cephas (City Councilwoman of Cambridge, MD) and Andrew Bradshaw (Mayor of Cambridge, MD).
During the election process, ItzYourzRadioLive began to see the impact of their platform and its influence beyond politics.
Within the last several months, ItzYourzRadioLive has received several letters from listeners who are incarcerated. ItzYourzRadioLive would always send a shout-out to those who are incarcerated, particularly ECI and SCI, located in the Salisbury, MD and Lower Delaware areas.
Even when he was at Magic 98.9 several years ago, Phoenix would talk to formerly incarcerated men that he knew and they would tell him of the impact that ItzYourzRadio had on them. Being that he knew many incarcerated, “behind the walls”, were tuning into the show, he made it a priority to recognize them and to give them some words of encouragement.
“…… for example, our very own DJ Ill Kid was incarcerated… He would offer words of encouragement, share his experiences and be an example of how a positive change can occur post incarceration. Ill no longer hustles in the street, but he now hustles, legally, for his community. He owns several businesses, including a convenience store, barbershop, hair salon and music studio. He also provides an annual turkey giveaway and dinners for Thanksgiving and a toy giveaway for Christmas. He has also stopped smoking and drinking. I’m proud to see the transformation of that brother and he’s an example that it can be done… But it all starts with the transformation of the mind“, says Phoenix.
Phoenix along with another Live 97.5 show host/activist (Salisbury Solutions), Amber Green, opened up their shows to allow those who are incarcerated to send in poems to read on the air and even give their own shout outs through letter, if they’d like. Just allowing them to have a voice through their platforms.
One letter in particular really moved the crew. It was sent in by Charles Connors. While most deserve to be incarcerated based on their crimes, many should receive no sympathy and some are really good people and may have made some bad decisions along the way.
Then there’s a percentage that are simply getting screwed by the system.
Here are portions of Charles Connors’ letter:
“Dear ItzYourzRadio, First and foremost I send my utmost respect to you and yours. I want to send sincere and complete gratitude for what you guys do for me every Sunday with your show. It is the highlight of my week for real.”
“I’m serving a 32 year sentence for forgery and 2nd degree assault. I know crazy right? Only dude I know in here with 30+ years and don’t have a body.”
“I feel if you’re a public figure, in any capacity, you need to make a positive impact or you’re not utilizing your platform to its full potential”, says Phoenix.

5D Crew – Camila

5D Crew aims to usher in great awakening with new album ‘Story of Souls’

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA – From an inspirational thought of music healing transformation, 5D Crew was created. This music project for the great awakening has taken off like a rocket of creative juices forming a large collection of songs.

“Story of Souls,” released under their group name 5D Crew and released through their own indie label, Studio 11 Entertainment, the album delivers healing dance floor vibes alongside their New Age Pop-Hop music. It’s a melting pot of musical tones and flavors that should satisfy anyone’s musical sweet tooth and leave a lingering brain-invading hook.

Gordon said. “There’s a great awakening that’s been happening and we’ve been moving into a 5D reality.

The two came from different music journeys. Gordon has spent time building a Juno Award winning studio in Winnipeg that Kanye West visited back in 2007.  Starr has been a leading worldwide spiritual healer and a master of raising consciousness through a process he calls Shadowwork. Together, they’ve developed a fusion of different sounds, from Latin to Pop to Rock to EDM and everything in between.

“That’s what makes the project interesting,” Starr said. “Jason is channeling the music and lyrics while I’m channeling the healing energy to put into the songs. But at the end of the day, we’re making music for the great awakening and helping people shift into that 5D reality.

Three singles from the projects have been gaining a lot of traction from fans. The first is a Latin Pop song called “Camila” that was inspired by their mutual admiration for Latin Pop artist Camila Cabello.  The second is “Future of Love,” a futuristic vibe that explores what might happen if everyone had their own sex robot.  The third is perhaps the most timely and introspective. “My Number One” was written just as the world was going into a lockdown.  Starr said “There was a lot of negativity going on and we wanted to write a tribute to our daughters we are so grateful for.

Gordon and Starr have an undeniable connection when it comes to crafting songs together.  They look forward to sharing more music with their fans in the coming years ahead.

The album is currently available across all streaming platforms.

Versatile Rock – Vulnerable State

Canadian Rock band makes international splash with new single ‘Vulnerable State’

ONTARIO, CANADA – Versatile Rock is a band on a mission to bring more great music to the world. With their release of a new EP in the summer of 2020, the band set the table for a bevy of new singles and sounds that are sure to make the music world sit up and pay attention. They prove that with their latest release, “Vulnerable State,” which was dropped wide across all streaming platforms in January.

Self-dubbed as a message song that doubles as a Rock Ballad, “Vulnerable State” addresses some of the woes of the world and offers a different perspective on life in these trying times. It’s a song that features the group’s signature style – a bit of Rock, Country, Jazz, Blues and Punk all brought together through the mutual talent of the band’s four members: Joe Deshane on lead vocals, Chris Turner on rhythm and lead guitar, Jason Post on drums, and Terry Ritchie on bass guitar and keyboards.

“It’s not pandemic related, but it does talk about the way the world is now,” Deshane said. “We’re in a vulnerable state right now, no doubt about it. There’s crazy stuff going on – people are getting killed and just a lot of troublesome things in the world. This song explores everything in general with the world and it shows off our own very unique sound.”

Deshane said one of the things that make the band’s sound stand out is the way each member brings a different take on traditional techniques. Lead guitarist Chris Turner often “breaks the rules,” Deshane said, to come up with truly original sounds, sometimes creating chords that have seemingly never existed before. All of the instrumentalists in the band do that to some degree or another, and when it all comes together, it makes “one cool sound,” Deshane said.

“It just makes sense,” he said. “We make good music and give you a good time, and we do it with a unique sound. We’re writing radio-ready songs and music that can get played anywhere. In fact, everyone always tells us we’re better live than on our albums because we put on such good concerts. Plus, we can adapt to anything – we could even team up with rappers or combine with any sound or style.”

With the EP “Versatile Rock Live at Studio 29” already pushing 100,000 streams, and the new single gaining some major traction internationally, this Canadian band is excited for the future. They have two more singles ready to drop late spring or early summer – “VR World” and “Control”, as well as music videos for “Deceitful The “Top of the Morning” video, however, is already available across all streaming platforms.

Cuban Rain – Know You

Blog, Industry Spotlight, ME Blog, Music, Promo

Multi-Talented Cuban Rain Commands Mastery On New God

Cuban Rain is more than a rapper. He’s more than a writer and more than a director. Even more than an entrepreneur Cuban Rain is a polymath; his accomplishments span a variety of different fields. The cover art for his latest album New God calls to mind Michaelangelo’s The Creation of Man. “My earlier material was all different styles,” said Cuban Rain. “But I’m musically very versatile. I felt like this album was anointed or blessed by God. I was touched by God to release it.”

Captivated by music at the age of 7, Cuban Rain recalls how his brothers influenced him. “I was just watching my brothers and following in their footsteps,” he said. “I went through some hard times in my 20s. But at 28, I was able to save up enough money to pay for my studio time.” Prior to launching his music career, Cuban Rain worked in both the medical and the security industries. In his spare time, he found intern positions that allowed him ground-floor access into the music business. “I’ve done a lot of promoting for labels,” he explained. “Bad Boy Records’ street team, G Unit’s street team That put me in touch with the likes of Slim Thug and Big Tuck.”

Not content to let life pass him by, Cuban Rain keeps his musical craft sharp with a daily regimen. “I look at my recording as everyday work,” he said.  “I have been recording nearly every day for the last 3 years. I never want to let more than maybe 3 or 4 days go by without recording.” Cuban Rain credits his time volunteering with street teams as critical to his success. “I learned that it takes hard work to get anywhere in any company,” he said. “You gotta be goal-oriented. You have to know what you want. I always wanted to be the artist, the producer, and the label owner. To get there, I never stopped learning.”

Cuban Rain doesn’t limit his artistic assets to music. He also owns 6 Vision Productions, a video production company, as well as a record label called Yasah Entertainment. “I wanted to take care of the video side, so we started a production company.  I also write and direct short films.” Cuban Rain has several film and television projects in the works. “I have a short film called Necro, which will be released soon. Tora Woloshin – America

Tora Woloshin offers stripped-down vulnerable single while making plea for change in new song ‘America’

ALAMEDA, CA – After nearly a decade of high production, the glitz and glamor of Hollywood and multiple world tours, International artist Tora Woloshin is bringing a stripped down version of her music that showcases a more vulnerable side of her artistry.

Her new EP “America” is just her and the piano. That’s quite an intimate offering from an artist who has enjoyed the biggest limelight available to a musician. She first came to notoriety as a finalist on The X Factor USA where she was mentored by Simon Cowell. That happened in 2011 and in the years since she signed with a label and did multiple tours worldwide. She worked with major artists such as Jim Jones and Timbaland, and performed on stage with artists such as B.o.B., Ne-Yo, Flo Rida, Method Man, Pink, and more.

The high production value of her past work is nothing like what she’s bringing with “America,” and that’s intentional. She said at this point in her career, she’s matured both as an artist and a woman. She wants her music to reflect that in intimate and authentic ways. So as she lays down melodies on the piano, she’s also letting loose some raw emotion with the incredible vocals she’s become known for over the years.

“It’s very intimate,” she said. “it’s very raw. There are no special effects on my voice. It’s very personal, and I think it will be personal for a lot of other people, too.”

The first single from the project is “America” and the music video is slated to drop on Feb.14. Tora said it’s her “love song to America” and serves as both an expression of her frustrations of what’s been happening to America in cycles since the country first was formed, and a deeply passionate plea to her fellow Americans to love and respect the freedoms we have and great opportunities we enjoy.

She’ll follow that with the Anarobic animated music video on July 4 to go along with the release that Tora said is in the same vein as the art of the adult animated classic “Family Guy.” The song will delve deeper into the story that she starts with the first single. It doesn’t hold back on its challenge to the world to take a new perspective when it comes to the oppression of government on American citizens.

“It’s very political,” she said. “The government is suffocating the American people and we can’t breathe. They keep doing things to people and it’s just a shame. We’re exploiting a lot of the corruption in the video. I’m trying to make a change through my music. I know a lot of messages get sent through music, but too many artists today are sending out the wrong messages. I think people need to start being shown better music that teaches and helps and guides and inspires.”

The final single from the EP is “Eclipse” which deviates in subject matter from the first two singles. It’s more of a love song and serves as a vehicle for Tora’s vulnerability in romantic relationships. She said it’s a song that metaphorically says we need to watch each other and love each other and unite through the hardships of life.  The “Eclipse” music video together with the EP is already available across streaming platforms.
