Trey the Visionary rides wave of success from ‘High Point’ EP on the way to launch of new album ‘Landslide’ 

MILWAUKEE, WI – An original blend of Hip Hop, Trap and R&B comes to light in powerful ways on the new EP from fast-rising rapper Treveon Howard, professionally known as Trey the Visionary. “The High Point” is a four-song project that perfectly captures the unique sound and style of this American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. On this standout summer project, Trey thoughtfully organizes his thoughts to create four of his most popular songs to date. 

“This project is kind of the timeline of the pain of my life and the journey of my career,” Trey said. “I’ve been making music for a minute, and this is one of those projects that solidifies by spot as the people’s champion. It’s celebrating my GOAT-ness and recognizing the greatest music of my career.” 

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trey has been around music his entire life. He said he’s been rhyming since he was 8 years old and recording since age 12. When he was younger, he idolized Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube and Travis Scott, and as he grew older, he began to realize what separated them and made them unique and original. 

In high school at Messmer High, he collided with young epic Milwaukee native JV Harris. They both shared a love for music and noticed a room in the high school filled with old instruments and other storage space. They cleaned out the room, remodeled it and turned it into the foundation for a studio. Trey credits music team Greg Flattery for helping him and Harris to learn the recording side of the music industry and to develop their hustle and humbleness as young music trailblazers. Trey also got in touch with Milwaukee-Lexington producer Slap Jackk who assisted them with valuable knowledge about the industry and the skills it takes to stand out as producers. In the years since, this 23-year-old artist has developed a sound and style that can only be described as truly original. 

“I’ve grown up in one of the top ten most dangerous cities in the world and my music is a direct reflection of my surroundings,” Trey said. “I’m explaining the culture and ethnicity I grew up in. I’m literally a living, breathing Milwaukee pillar, and I’m blessed to get to talk about everything in my city – the good, the bad … everything. I know the trials that people are going through and I make music to help them have peace with their emotions. I love using my voice, and I love being melodic, but my style is very organic and I embrace the opportunities to experiment and figure out what I can do with my voice. I think that originality and diversity makes me different than other artists.” 

Trey said he will further explore that sound on an upcoming album called “Landslide” which is due to drop this fall. Developed in collaboration with Milwaukee-Madison artist, producer and engineer icon Brendan LP and his media manager and videographer Jack Wilkins, the project is one that Trey said will stand head-and-shoulders above anything else on the market today. 

“I feel like it’s going to be an even bigger high point,” he said. “It’s a ‘Landslide’ of consistent wins and feeling myself in this legendary state. I’m rubbing elbows with legendary people who are just like me. I can make a song out of anything and then make it even bigger – each one with a different vibe and sound. That’s exactly what this album will bring.” 

The first single from the album is called “Hyenas” and is already available for fans to enjoy across all streaming platforms. It joins “High Point” as an impressive display of artistry from a young musician who is poised to become a global phenomenon.

Da Real EKG has finger on the pulse of music with new single ‘Thing 4 You’ 

DOTHAN, AL – An EKG machine is a medical device that keeps up with the electric pulses of the human body. Da Real EKG is an artist who offers the same for the music industry. He has his finger on the pulse of music and his unique sound and style are providing a fresh perspective in a time desperate for originality. 

His latest single, “Thing 4 You” is a perfect example of this original sound and style. Opening with R&B harmonies and a smooth, mid-tempo flow, this song has a sway to it that cannot be denied. Showcasing his deep voice – both as a singer and a rapper – the song is one that perfectly fuses R&B and Rap in ways that are truly one-of-a-kind. “We were all stuck in the studio one day and somebody had a beat and we were all hearing the same thing over and over again and when I finally got a chance to spit it out, it came out great,” EKG said. “It’s all of us telling our own unique love stories. At the time I had met someone that I wanted to show the world to, but not give her the world. But it was one of those relationships that I knew wasn’t gonna work out. A.M., on the other hand, is rapping about someone he wants to give the world to Overall, it’s a love vibe and everything is so vibrant and in tune to the moment.” 

The single is one that is true to his trajectory as an artist. After releasing his first single “The Love Letter,” his career has made a steady rise over the past few years. He released an album in 2017 called “Lit at the 30” which has seen success across all streaming platforms. And more recently, he’s been preparing to release his new album “The Struggle” which will break down a lot of urban stereotypes and talk about his current position and the challenges he’s faced to get to where he is today in his career. 

“A lot of people go too deep into it and say that their situation has to be a product of their environment,” EKG said. “I have had a mentor growing up who is no longer with us, and he taught me that you have to change the notion that you have to be a stereotype or a statistic or a product of your environment. You don’t have to be that. You can be different. For me, that meant getting in the studio and finishing off this album and showing the world how to do things a different way.” 

The album should release this fall, EKG said. In the meantime, “Thing 4 You” is available across all streaming platforms.

New King of Hip-Hop Soul, Reality, set to drop hot new EP ‘10/1/12’ 

Everybody has a moment in life that defines them – that turning point during which something profound happens and reshapes the way you think, act and live. For Reality Wilson, that day happened on 10/1/12. That was the day he and his former girlfriend first got together and started a relationship, and the seven-hour conversation that the two of them had that evening was a dialogue that turned out to be an eye-opener for him in almost every way possible. 

Not only has he commemorated that day with a tattoo of the date on his right hand, but he has also created a new EP entitled “10/1/12” that’s set to be released on Aug. 7. Self-dubbed as a coming-of-age story, the project is one that takes listeners on a journey from youth into adulthood by way of the sounds and styles that have been developed by this budding young artist from the inner city of New York. From nostalgic vibes associated with his first love in high school to different reflections of moods and vibes that have come in the years since the end of that relationship, this EP has it all.  

“The whole project is me overcoming   the obstacles of young love and serves as a metaphor for leaving things in the past and moving on,” Reality said. “It can also serve as a metaphor of the things that are going on in our country right now. The first track is called ‘Conversation’ and we really do need to have a conversation about what’s going on right now. ‘Thoughts of You’ uses raw Hip Hop to give some of that old school vibe because everybody needs some old school right now. Every song on the EP has a message like that, and it ends with ‘Revenge.’ To me the best revenge is success.” 

When it comes to Reality’s music, he’s 100 percent authentic. He considers everything he does as a hit, though he admits that he defines a hit differently than most. While not every song will be a top-10 chart song, he said everything he creates will be a hit for a specific time and place and theme. And when the listener is in that kind of space and hears his song, it will hit them hard and in the perfect way.  

That kind of ability to hit so many audiences with such perfection is a rare talent for someone so young. At only age 22, Reality is carving a niche for himself in the industry. Already, major industry execs are looking at him with interest because he has the kind of sound and style that is unlike anything else out there.  

“I’m about real music,” he said. “Music is music. It’s a frequency. I don’t even like to call myself a rapper or singer – I’m a frequency. The art is gonna create itself. I don’t have to do much.” 

According to his manager and long-time music industry insider, Randy Connor, Reality has the kind of once-in-a-lifetime talent that is destined to change the face of Hip Hop. 

“He is an incredible talent,” Connor said. “I’ve spent a lifetime developing artists and he is super talented. He’s a legitimate MC in terms of a Rap artist, but he’s also an amazing vocalist and music producer. He does all of those things and he does them so well that we really believe he’s the new King of Hip-Hop Soul. He’s the male version of Mary J Blige.”

Servant Brother Soldier and Child of the Most High YAH, Yishay Zimrah uses music to pass on a message to the world on the brink of the end times 

LAS VEGAS, NV – Yishay Zimrah is not afraid to tell the truth. He’s a man who will hit it straight and right down the middle. His new single “Dry Bones (Wake up Judah)” is the perfect example of that.

Yishay is a former Marine who embraced art – and specifically music – as a way to help share the importance of the truth, and this is his message along with praise. In fact, “The Message” is the title of his upcoming album which features his new hit single  “Dry Bones” and other songs such as “Blood Screaming From The Ground” which is in the same socially conscious and whistle blowing arena. Yishay said his style can be described as “Truth” with elements of Gospel and conscious Hip Hop found in almost everything he creates. 

“My music is not just to entertain but to inspire and inform,” he said. “My background is in the scriptures (the Bible), and my desire is for us to return to the old paths where our souls may find rest. I’m a patriarchal Hebrew Israelite man, servant, soldier and child of the Most High, and I feel a deep responsibility for every word uttered and every representation made of the Most High.” 

Yishay’s album also features songs like “Blood Screaming from the Ground” and songs of worship such as “The Only Way” which further expand on his messages of injustices, degradation and conditions of certain groups of people. 

“This is the time of the great awakening,” Yishay said. “The scriptures are real. Prophecies are real. What we saw in part is now being unveiled to witness face-to-face. Most High willing, I shall usher in a new thing with the restoration of the old.”

Inspirational artist, Pricele$$ Lion recounts personal triumph over his challenges with new album “Changes: A Lion to Mufasa” 

LINCOLN, NE – Many young men who grew up in challenging circumstances have turned to music as their escape, and David “Price$$ Lion” Stefan is no exception. Born with mild cerebral palsy which limits the range of motion in his left arm and leg, David was bullied most of his life for having a disability. Today, the artist gives hope to those who have been bullied for being different. “I use my music to change the world’s perception – it’s OK to be different,” he said. “Being different is greatness.” 

David’s journey from bullied kid to well-traveled recording artist and entrepreneur is told in his new album, “Changes: A Lion to Mufasa. “ The story about the changes in David’s life over the past five years is told from start to finish over the course of the album. Lessons learned and obstacles overcome have taken him to heights he had only dreamed of before. Recorded at Sanctuary Studios in Nebraska and mixed and mastered in Houston, the new album was released earlier this year. 

The 13-song album showcases David’s talent with EDM, Pop, Rock and Roll, and has something for everyone. A particular favorite, titled “Superhero” tells how anyone can be that rock for someone. Another standout track deals with getting off the “Roller Coaster” of toxic relationships and realizing self worth. “Once you get out of that toxic relationship and truly find your own worth and love yourself, the world is unbelievable,” the artist asserted. 

David “Price$$ Lion” Stefan started seriously making his own music in 2006. That year, he penned “Let Me,” a song for the athletes of the Special Olympics. A few years later, he wrote the follow up song, “Let Me Anthem” which conveys his passion for assisting and inspiring others to overcome their own challenges. Over the years, David has performed in front of tens of thousands at Special Olympics ceremonies in several states and for international audiences. Last year, he opened for big name acts such as Nappy Roots, Scarface, Rittz and Jadakiss during a multi-state tour. David is also a Nebraska Special Olympics Hall of Famer, winning over 50 gold medals, 8 silver, and 4 bronze over the years. 

Influenced by artists such as Nelly and Michael Jackson who were never afraid to go outside the box, David experiments with his latest album to step outside the box himself. A passionate and caring creator who works to help others achieve their dreams, David is making music for all the people who feel like they don’t have a voice.

Southern rapper p33di drops hot club track ‘I’m Da Man’ 

JACKSONVILLE, FL – An artist from the Deep South is making a name for himself by creating up-tempo club music with a twist for a new version of Krunk. Alejandro Jomar showcases original sound on new album ‘Trap-Fi’ 

LONG ISLAND, NY – New York renowned fashion designer, R&B vocalist, music producer and professional influencer Alejandro Jomar has claimed his space in the music industry, displaying his in-depth production skills and vocal talent with a new sound he calls Trap-Fi. He began his journey through sound with heavy bass “boom-bap,” but as he grew older, he began to create more commercial, modern sounds that feature heavy 808s and punchy production. Those two styles combined give Alejandro a unique perspective on today’s modern music landscape and help him carve a niche with his signature Trap-Fi sound. 

Appropriately, that sound is put on full display on a new album from Alejandro entitled “Trap-Fi.” It’s a project that offers music fans a brand new take on today’s music landscape. After a six-month process with Propaganda Entertainment LLC, Alejandro is ready to deliver an emotional yet uplifting album that ensures he is here to stay.  

“I struggled with suicidal thoughts and depression for a while, and this album is reminiscent of those emotions and the journey I’ve taken through that,” he said. “I want to spread a positive message that if you feel like you can’t get through whatever you’re dealing with, I promise you can. I am still here even after I attempted to commit suicide in 2015, and I feel like I am an example that people can use to get through. And today, I have a side of me that encourages people to live their lives and be happy and push through the dark feelings to the light on the other side of the tunnel.” 

“Trap-Fi” opens with a melancholy saxophone symphony with filtered drums that create a reverb effect. Alejandro begins to harmonize over the saxophone as the beat begins to build. His blend of Trap 808s alongside an orchestrated boom-bap pattern come in and right away, listeners are introduced to his signature sound. With raw vocals that showcase his vulnerability and lyrics that explore everything from relationship issues to suicidal thoughts to eccentric lifestyles and even the death of loved ones, “Trap-Fi” is a tour-du-force of emotion and sound.  

One of the standout singles from the project that has been getting a lot of attention since the album’s release on June 25 is a song called “Thursday.” The bouncy Dance/Pop tune blends perfectly with commercial Trap and sets the stage for Alejandro’s raw vocals. He speaks of finding beauty in women of all colors, races, shapes and sizes – ultimately elevating women all around the world. 

Another hot single from the album is “Tailored Garments” which displays Alejandro’s ability to create a catchy hook. This radio-ready hit features punchy 808s and a fast-paced, upbeat tempo. Inspired by A$AP Rocky’s “Out of this World,” “Tailored Garments” is a song that name-drops a plethora of high-end fashion designers and speaks of Alejandro’s eccentric lifestyle as a fashion designer and influencer. 

Yet another hot single from the album that’s been getting a lot of attention is “Roll Up” which features a beachy guitar riff accompanied by heavy 808s. The song also features bars from Alejandro’s brother Deja, who is also the CEO of Propaganda Entertainment. This track speaks of Alejandro and Deja’s experiences with Cannabis – selling it at an early age – as well as luxury fashion and women. 

Alejandro’s label, Propaganda ENT LLC will be releasing a stream of singles over the coming months, beginning with the release of “Young Kings Forever” featuring Deja. The label will also release Deja’s “Black Flag” album later this year for which Alejandro produced the majority of the beats. Alejandro often collaborates with the members of Wasting My 20s Collective – a team of talented New York-based artists in photography and videography formed by the members themselves – that was integral in helping him create “Trap-Fi.”

West Coast artist Ble$$in explores deeper ramifications of current affairs with new single ‘It’s Always Sumthin’ 

SACRAMENTO, CA – Why does it feel like there’s always something wrong that needs to be fixed in the world? That’s the core question behind the new single from West Coast artist Ble$$in. His introspective-yet-aggressive new song “It’s Always Sumthin” was recently dropped across all streaming platforms, and it’s the kind of song that’s perfectly timed to further the conversations that have sprung up in the wake of the George Floyd death. 

“I’m talking about how there’s always something bad happening out there – there are always things going on and people don’t do anything or try to intervene in any situation because they’re afraid they’ll get locked up or killed,” he said. “It was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and the knee-on-the-neck thing with George Floyd, but it also talks about things beyond that. It’s kind of aggressive but it also has a vibe to it. I’m more of an awakening type of person – I talk more about the deeper things, not just the surface, worldly things – and this song is right in line with that.” 

That penchant for addressing the deeper currents of culture and attacking “the system” in ways that encourage reform and empower people to band together for positive change is the kind of signature that Ble$$in brings to his music. His Hip Hop and R&B fusion – which displays talents both for rapping and singing – is the perfect foil for those deeper conversations. Going through life situations while growing up around Sacramento, California, music became an outlet and escape. As he grew older, he watched other family members in the music industry use their natural talents to create vibes that helped people through various life situations. The more he watched, the more he wanted to participate, and after his first time in the recording studio, he never looked back.  

“I want to be known for opening up people’s minds,” he said. “I believe I bless people with my voice and my knowledge, and I feel like I’m a blessing on earth. I want to be a mark on the earth. Even when I die, I want to be known and I want my voice to give life to people long after I’m gone.” 

Toward that end, Ble$$in will be releasing an album called “Awake” later this year. The 12 songs on that album will continue the journey started by the single “It’s Always Sumthin” by tackling worldly situations and talking about “the system” and what happens after something wrong occurs.

Emerging artist, YSD releases debut EP “Nowhere But Up” 

GAINESVILLE, FL – While some other rappers are content to just find a nice beat and do their thing to it, YSD is a genuine storyteller who speaks the truth. A young artist who made the decision to pursue his music career in spite of obstacles, YSD kept rapping through life’s challenges. Any listener who has been through challenges themselves will hear what YSD is saying. “I really like to take my time and put a message out there,” YSD said, “and if you are one of the real ones, you will get it.” 

A versatile artist who blends Hip Hop with R&B melodies, YSD hits from many angles to deliver a mix of dope tones. All of his creations have a distinct vibe. While each song carries his signature sound, the vibe is different on every track. 

For his first major project, YSD wanted to create something truly outstanding. His debut EP, titled “Nowhere But Up” has been in the works since October of last year.  Recorded at Century Studios in Jacksonville, Florida with AB’s help, the project was finally released on July 24 of this year.  

Two standout tracks include the intro and the outro. The EP’s lead track “A.G.N.B.” talks about his feelings from a complex viewpoint. “It sounds good on the beat, and people who know me know that my music comes from a deeper place,” YSD said. “The way I put it on the beat, I put it on in a way that people can relate and still vibe to it.” 

The last track, “Greatest Rapper You Don’t Know” is the representation of YSD as a person in song form. He is driven to showcase his abilities in the music game and strives to prove himself with steady projects over time.

New video for single ‘Been Thinking’ from R&B artist 
J-Vic shows off sexy smooth velvet vocals 

CHARLESTON, SC – One of the smoothest songs of the summer is the R&B smash hit “Been Thinking” from East Coast artist J-Vic. The sexy single shows off his velvet vocals underneath his signature sound that bring melody back to R&B in a way that perfectly encapsulates that signature sound that he calls “feel good music.” 

That phrase is one that defines the style and message of this artist who was born in Long Island, New York but moved to South Carolina with his brother and father at age 14. Music has always been a natural gift for this young artist, but he further enhanced his sound by studying at the Institute of Audio Research in New York, as well as apprenticing with well-known producers in Atlanta and around the world. Through that work, he created the production and artist management company G6 Entertainment Group LLC, through which he continues to write and produce for other independent artists. 

“Been Thinking” is one of the latest singles from that label and the new music video for it was recently released on his YouTube channel. It’s a song that nods to the vibes of legends such as Chris Brown and Usher, while also showcasing J-Vic’s own unique style. 

“I’m trying to bring more singing back to R&B and bring more melody and emotion back to it,” he said. “This song is about thinking about a girl that you’re going to start smashing with and the build up to that. I’d say it’s edgy but not lovey-dovey.” 

“Been Thinking” is the first single from the album “J-Vic” which is also currently available across all streaming platforms. It’s a project that he said shows off different elements of his personality and different sides of his vocal ability and musical talent. He said every album he creates will be an intentional effort to show fans the different sides of his persona. 

“One person isn’t ever into just one thing,” he said. “I want my music to help people get to know me and what I’m about – my different styles and approaches and vibes that I like to create. I’m an observer and I write off what I observe and experience. I could watch an episode of The Simpsons and write a song based off a situation that Marge and Homer find themselves in, or I could have a personal experience with a relationship and write about that. But no matter what it is, my music will show different elements and sides of me. At the end of the day though, I know my music will be known for blending that Trap element with the heavy 808s to create a feel of the 90s R&B. Basically, my music is going to repopulate the earth because I’m making a lot of baby-making music.”
