Midwest producer, writer, and artist Ife Senoj introduces himself to the world with his first single, “I H.A.T.E. U”. Ife Senoj who got his name off the movie “Love Jones” (“Ife” in Yoruba means “love” and “Senoj” is “Jones” spelled backwards.) says, “Have you wondered how men feel during times of conflict in their relationship? A lot of times men’s feelings get ignored, but we hurt also.” “I H.A.T.E. U, describes how three friends navigate through their “Love Gone Wrong” situations. It features artists Mister Aubs and Steve Legacy. Their collective talent and poetry brings a great balance of rap, rnb, and mixes different deliveries to give something ear catching to listeners.

Ife Senoj also known as producer Wes Muzik produced, wrote, and engineered the entire single showing a range of diversity when it comes to music. But he is no stranger to it. With a background in live instrumentation (drums) and a mother who plays multiple instruments and was church choir director, he knew music was in his blood.

When asked why Wez Muzik the producer made the switch to Ife Senoj the artist, he said, “ I think me being an artist is an extension of my production. I won’t say that I transitioned from one to the other, I think I just decided to utilize all of my gifts.” Indeed he has.

The Swagrman story is one of struggle and enlightenment, tied to a special relationship with Swaggy Wolfdog.

Swagrman was fascinated by DJing as a child. He enjoyed writing poetry with Grandpa Fred. He loved the idea of creating and sharing music that told stories. Coming from a loving family that had limited means, he didn’t have access to equipment or opportunities required to realize his dream and started to lose hope.

Then Swagrman was asked to rescue a puppy that needed a home. The puppy was the last one left of the litter, a runt. Understanding the loneliness the puppy felt, he decided to adopt it. Little did he know Swaggy was about to change his life.

Swagrman developed a habit of uploading content on social media and naturally began featuring “Swaggy Wolfdog” which confused his fans, who believed the dog was Swagrman. The original content Swagrman posted, some featuring his fun loving best friend Swaggy Wolfdog, inspired a movement to adopt pets, especially the ones left behind or overlooked. With the public eye on Swaggy Wolfdog, Swagrman was able to focus on his art and create music.

N0bdy is a creative music artist from the Austin community of Chicago. After watching his father create music throughout his whole childhood, he developed a passion for music. He would experiment on garage band throughout his preteen years, Writing little songs almost everyday. Until he was old enough to save money for a desktop. After buying it he taught himself how to make beats, and form songs. He bought a microphone and practiced and studied his own craft. I wrote this song during a very dark time. I vividly remember writing this song in the car (while I was driving) and I have never done that before. Driving a rental car because I had recently just totaled my Honda Accord in a drinking and driving accident. Living away from family in KC for four years I made some pretty bad decisions that resulted in blessings disguised as curses. Generally, I am always the most positive person I know but this song came from a really dark place when I needed to vent. This song helped reinvent my perspective on music, as I should use music as therapy before anything. If you get a second chance, don’t squander it. My life could have ended in numerous ways on the day of the accident.

‘Trash’ Album Provides New Experience For Music Lovers’ Ears Straining For Something Different

TWIN CITIES – There aren’t many high schoolers who would spend their car money on a marimba … come to think of it, how many would know what a marimba even is?
Spoke did. He had been saving his money all through high school for a car, an instrument that is very similar to the xylophone, but soft-toned. Spoke played percussion and was onS a drum line until he graduated in high school in 2016 – now his music goes to the beat of his own drum.

“When I’m not at work, I’m working on my music in one shape or another,” Spoke said. “I’ve been doing this for seven years. My music has always evolved because I like different sounds and trying new things.”

Described as multi-genre, Spoke released his newest album “Trash” this year – and you could say it sounds like Electric Rave with a slur. Each of the five tracks is as unpredictable as the next. When the marimba makes its debut in the third song, Spoke lets it lead. But the messages and raw emotion behind these vibes are exclusively for the listener.

“I don’t want to tell people how to think – I purposely keep the lyrics vague,” Spoke said. “Even I can go back and get different meanings from it, and experience a new feeling from when I wrote the song.”

A relatable tale , Spoke’s single “Save Name” dives into the concept of whether people will remember a someone or not – and is that recognition based on success after high school?

“I don’t tell people to expect anything when it comes to my music because it’s always so different,” Spoke said. “It’s not like anything that’s been released in the past 20 years. None of it fits, but somehow it does … all I want to do is get better – get bigger. But I’ve noticed with a lot of artists that make it big, they live too luxurious and then they need their next album to do well just to make it. So their music gets washed out – takes away the quality. I always want to stay in good music.”
