Hot new artist Amira brings sound, style reminiscent of the late Aaliyah

BALTIMORE, MD – All of her life, Amira has looked up to some of music’s most noteworthy
divas. To this day, she’s quick to point to artists such as Beyoncé, Whitney Houston and Monica,
as well as some rising divas such as Ariana Grande and Tori Kelly. In fact, it’s those fast-rising
female artists that she hopes to join one day as one of the world’s premier female musicians. As
an up-and- coming independent artist in search of her first big deal, she is well on her way.

Her most recent single, “Mathematics,” is the next step on her way to achieving that dream.
The pop-infused, mid-tempo song features lyrics that deal with a relationship breakup. It
follows Amira on a journey that starts with wanting her lover to understand how much she
loves him, to saying that it isn’t for her, to eventually backing out of the relationship.

“The music video follows the story from the song,” she said. “I start off venting to a friend
because I think my boyfriend is cheating on me. I’m hurt and I don’t know what to do about it.
As the video progresses, you see me kind of begging him to see me and that I want to be there
for him. I’m genuine in my feelings, but as the video progresses I can see that this is a
relationship that is not for me. At the end I walk away from camera with my hands in the air
because I’m done.”

Fans who watch the video will immediately be struck by the similarity Amira shares with the
late Aaliyah. Her sound and style are also reminiscent of the late pop icon, with a young, sweet
and innocent look that combines with powerhouse vocals and a supreme confidence that
makes it nearly impossible not to pay attention to what she has to say.

“I just want to be somebody who is relatable,” she said. “A lot of celebrities are well known, but
not relatable. Most everyday girls can’t relate to the lifestyle they’re going through. I want to
change that, if I can. I want to be the artist that some girl in high school could hear and
immediately get what I’m saying. I’m not just somebody on TV – I’m more than that. Even the
celebrities or singers that I look up to, I can’t say that I relate to what they’re doing or what
they’re going through. Their lives seem so different from mine. I want to be more relatable and
fill that space.”

“Mathematics” is the first single off an EP that Amira said she hopes to drop later this year. In

Bronx Producer and Artist D-Stackz Plans to Release
New Project after the Success of “My Sh-t” and “Jungle”

LOS ANGELES, CA – Straight from the endless hustle and bustle of the Bronx,
New York, esteemed artist and producer D Stackz is here to make waves in the
industry. When D Stackz decided to pursue a career within the music industry, he
looked to his father for inspiration. Through watching his father grow his own
career in their home studio, D Stackz ultimately developed the desire to follow
suit. Little did he know, with hard work and dedication, his production would take
him further than he could've imagined at the time.

Initially, D Stackz began putting himself out there, and connecting with local
artists in the studio. It wasn’t long before word got around, and D Stackz’ musical
abilities caught the attention of so many in the industry. Though, D Stackz didn’t
become complacent, and decided to take his career to the next level as a
recording artist. “I’ve been rapping, and I’ve really been venturing out. I want to
come forth as an artist, and right now I’m working on my projects with
songwriting,” said the artist. The artist’s lyricism stands out among any average
song, and further verifies that D Stackz is truly the jack-of- all-trades.

Fans will be happy to learn that D Stackz is currently working on his next major
project. All songs included in this project will be produced by D Stackz himself,
and feature various artists throughout. Through this, D Stackz will fuse a type of
southern flair with the hard-hitting rap New York is known for. “I would have to
say it’s a mix. There’s a little bit of Atlanta and New York. There are some real
808-driven” beats. It’s going to be real catchy with an emotional influence,” said
D Stackz. When it comes to his style, everything is so organic and strategically
put together. Take his record with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, “My Sh-t", which
went platinum at the end of 2016. D Stackz refuses to place limits on himself,
and it shows within his track record- literally and figuratively!

Looking ahead, D Stackz has major plans in the works for himself and the
landscape of his future music career. Though the artist currently owns his own
production label, S.N.G. Inc., he is committed to taking it a step further in
developing up-and- coming artists. His desire is to change the game, as he did
with his production on “Jungle”, which achieved gold status. Through his vast
capabilities within all facets of music, there will be no surprise when he
accomplishes this.

Zanti Official – Their Song | @ZantiOfficial

Blog, ME Blog, Music, Videos

Iraq war refugee brings dreams of his youth to

fruition with new EP ‘Dream’

SAN DIEGO, CA – It’s appropriate that Zuhair Abed’s debut EP is titled “Dream.” The artist more
formally known as Zanti Official is a refugee from Iraq, moving to the U.S. with his family after
war ravaged his country and forced them to flee. When he left his country, he had nothing
more than a dream for something bigger, something better … something that only America
could provide.

The dream was first planted as a very young boy. His father was friends with a radio disc jockey
in Iraq, and the friend would frequently come to their home just to hang out. During those
occasions, it wasn’t uncommon for them all to listen to music together and sing. And the more
that happened, the more this DJ noticed Zanti’s raw, natural talent. He encouraged Zanti’s
father to bring his song to the radio station and let him sing on air. Things looked promising …
and then the war hit, and Zanti never had the opportunity to make good on his father’s friend’s
promise.

“But when I came to the U.S., I started listening to rap – Drake in particular – and immediately I
wanted to become a rapper,” he said. “Drake was a rapper who came from nothing to become
something. I love his style, and every time he posts new music I am a fan. I love what he does
and I love his work. And I want to have a career in music just like him.”

After finishing high school, Zanti was forced to get a job to make some money. But every day
after work he would come home and create new music – exploring his sound and trying to
create something that was unique and different. He began to explore themes that circled
around his dreams – what it takes to become successful, what success looks like and painting
pictures of what life could be some day if he dreamed big enough.

“That’s what this EP is about,” he said. “It’s about dreaming about the life that I want to make.
It’s about me having a house in LA with dope cars and working on my schedule and being my
own boss. Everything is possible, and I know that if Drake can go from nothing to become
something, so can I.”

The EP features six songs that are heavily influenced by trap beats. But Zanti said there are no
other rappers in San Diego doing the kind of music that he’s doing. He has his own unique style
that combines rap with melody on top of more rap, and weaves in slow verses with quick
tempos in a juxtaposition of sound and style that is uniquely his own.

The debut single from the project is called “Their Song.” It’s a song about creating positivity for
other people and trying to inspire them to chase their own dreams. Zanti said he’s currently
working on a music video for the single and hopes to drop it next month.

Diaz travels globe seeking out inspiration for new music

NEW YORK, NY – Diaz is on a journey to discover the best music in the world. His path started in
upstate Rochester, New York and has taken him all over the world, including his current stay in
China where he’s seeking out the next new voice in hip-hop. He’s willing to look anywhere and
everywhere for inspiration and his new six-song EP “More Game” shows exactly what happens
when that inspiration strikes.

The project is one that he said has a 90s-type vibe to it with a new generation flow. The songs
on the EP deal with subject matter that is both conscious and lyrical. He calls it “music with a
message,” though nothing is so overly serious that it can’t be enjoyed merely for the pleasure
of the music. And at the end of the day, that’s what Diaz wants to be known for: good music.

“I just want to have good music with good lyrics,” he said. “I have a different way of rapping
that you don’t hear on a daily basis. I’m a good song writer, and I hope other artists will
recognize that and want to come to me for a hook or a verse. I have a different sound from
anybody else. The way I put my lyrics together – hopefully I do it so well that it’ll make you
want to rewind it and hear it again. I like listening to music that makes you want to rewind it
over and over to understand it. And that’s what separates me from others. My music is
reflective.”

Diaz said he became interested in music at a very young age. He remembers fondly jumping on
the kitchen counters with his brother to perform for their mother. In middle school he visited
his cousin’s house and was introduced to the recording process of music. At age 13 he moved
from the inner city to the suburbs, and that was when he began to experiment with his skill as a
writer and lyricist. And though he continued to write for the next decade, it wasn’t until 2010
that he began to record – putting out one or two tracks here and there as he tried to perfect his
sound and style.

Last year he reconnected with a high school friend who had grown to become one of the
country’s best music producers. He and Count Blanc worked together on “More Game,”
creating a project that he said he’s very proud of.

Notable singles by Diaz is “Blessing”, “The Will” and “Never Suffer”. To listen to Diaz’s music or

Multi-Genre Singer and Songwriter KC Jockey Releases
Reggae-Centric EP “Love in the Air”

LOS ANGELES, CA – The music industry has seen a trend within the influence
of reggae and dancehall. Mainstream hip-hop artists are routinely incorporating
the island, carefree vibe within their music, especially in the last few years.
Breakout reggae star KC Jockey is here to grace the fans with the Jamaican-
style music they’ve been craving. With the artist’s native roots tracing back to
Kingston, it’s no surprise that his music truly captures the essence so naturally.

Coming from a strong background in music within his family, KC Jockey knew it
was his destiny to develop a musical career. Ever since he knew how to make
sounds as an infant, he was always humming and singing. Once he moved to the
states, he pushed further in making his musical dreams a true reality, no matter
how much work was involved. “Due to my parents being protective, I grew up
somewhat sheltered. Once given the opportunity to go out of my element, I really
wanted to get into my roots through music. So, I would perform around the
neighborhood, and at block parties. It all spiraled from there,” said the artist.
When it comes down to what makes him stand it out, it’s simply how organically
he goes outside out the box. KC Jockey is the type of artist that avoids the easier
route just to get to his final destination. “I try to take the harder route because I’m
always searching for results in the end. I’m very versatile, so I like to blend my
music with a little bit of everything, from pop to jazz to reggae. Not many people
can do that,” said KC Jockey.

Recently, KC announced the release of his new hit single, “Love in the Air”,
which belongs to his upcoming EP of the same name. It has been a busy month
for the artist, as he is gearing up to film the visuals for the single in the next few
weeks. The single is a true reflection of KC’s artistry, as it showcases happiness,
joy and love. “I like when people hear my music, and it brings them back to a
dated moment. It’s something to remember; it’s something that brings you back
to that certain memory. The EP has songs that reflect long-term memories with
substance,” said KC. The EP will encompass his timeless, infectious sound he is
known for.

Not only is he an all-star vocalist and songwriter, KC also uses his platform to
promote positivity throughout the world. Four years ago, he created his “Say No
to Domestic Violence” project, which he poured his heart into. He will also bring
awareness to the aggressive sickness that is cancer through his single, Cancer”.
He will also address the issue of bullying through his song “Don’t Bully”. With
such a variety of talent, such as acting in major motion pictures like I Am Legend
alongside Will Smith, he plans to utilize his skills when putting the visuals
together for his EP. Is there anything KC Jockey can’t do? One thing is for
certain: he sets an example for artists from all genres to follow, both off and on
stage. It’s no surprise that music labels are knocking at his front door, trying to
work with him.

Kev The Pope – Get Ready | @Kevthepope

One-on-one mentorship from legend Sean Price helps launch career of
new hip-hop artist Kev the Pope

BROOKLYN, NY – It’s not often that an aspiring musician gets to have an unofficial
apprenticeship with a legitimate star, but that’s exactly what happened for Kev the Pope.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Kev lived in the same building as legendary hip-hop
emcee Sean Price. As a young boy, Kev was heavily influenced by a musical family. His older
brother and sister were into hip-hop, and his father was into reggae. As he grew up, he began
experimenting with a combination of those two genres, while also dropping in sounds from pop
and R&B. By age 12, Kev shot a video in front of his building. His dad told him to play some of
his music for Sean Price. He did so and every day since then, he kept hanging out with him.

“I knew he was living in the building, but at the time I didn’t really know who he was,” Kev
recalls. “I wasn’t too in tune with his music, but I would play basketball with him from time to
time and I started to check out his music. I decided to rap for him one day, and he loved it. He
gave me my name on the spot – Kev the Pope – and from that day forward we used to chill
every day. As I got older he would introduce me to a lot of people in the industry and he really
blessed me with some keys and some knowledge of the game.”

Today, Kev is using that knowledge to create a successful career for himself. His sound and style
are unique, and his lyrics are beginning to serve as anthems for many people around the
country who come from the struggle and who face adversity. He writes songs about true stories
and things that have happened in his own life or the lives of those around him. And his songs
are diverse, with sounds and themes that will relate to many people of many demographics.

“I really think I can reach a lot of people because my music is about the struggle, but it’s also
about motivation,” Kev said. “It’s not just for one group. It’s not just one sound I have. It’s
versatile with a lot of different flows and sounds and concepts. With me it’s not just about
catchy hooks, it’s about being lyrical and having a message and content that’s marketable and
timeless. My music is in tune with what’s going on in the world today, but it also gives you that
90s feel that invites you to sit back and listen to a whole album without skipping anything. I feel
like that’s what my music is – the kind of music that two generations from now you’ll still be
listening to.”

Kev’s most recent release is a single called “Get Ready.” It’s a smooth song that he said gives
listeners the vibe of wanting to take their girl or wife out for a nice night out. The music video
for the single features a girl getting ready to go out on the town – putting on makeup, trying on
different outfits and jewelry, fixing her hair and doing all the things that a woman does before
going out.

“It’s very catchy and I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback about the song already,” Kev said. “I’ve
put out a lot of singles over the past two years that have been doing pretty well, and I’m
excited for this new one. A lot of people are relating to it.”

Kev said he also has two shows coming up at the end of January – the first on Jan. 21 at The
Barbary in Philadelphia, and the second on Jan. 27 at Lovecraft in New York City.

New York Hip-Hop Artist Tmmyx is Making
Major Moves in 2018

LOS ANGELES, CA – When it comes to hip-hop music, Tmmyx has been all
about it ever since he could remember. At a young age, he discovered the world
of hip-hop, and instantly felt connected to it. He would often dream about
becoming a major rapper one day, and as he grew older, he stayed dedicated to
making that a reality. One thing always remained the same no matter what was
happening in his life: his ultimate love for everything that hip-hop was.

As Tmmyx continued to pursue his musical dreams, he kept working in a behind
the scenes way. The artist wanted to keep things “on the low”, mostly due to the
fact that he didn’t know how people would respond. “If you are not huge, people
don’t always accept it,” said Tmmyx. “When I was in my younger years, I didn’t
want to show people what I was doing. But, then I got older and didn’t care as
much. So, I started telling people what I was working on.” After making this public
knowledge, the rapper began to see how things started lining up for him so
easily. He began linking up with fellow artists and producers, and knew this was
the beginning of something pivotal within his hip-hop career.

At this point, Tmmyx can’t see himself doing anything else. He often thinks about
how scary it can be when an artist dedicates their whole life to one thing.
Currently, the artist is placing a huge emphasis on focusing his energy on
singles. “I have some planned mixtapes on the back burner. I’m just focused on
building my brand right now,” said Tmmyx. His single, a remix to the hit “Jocelyn
Flores” by XXXTENTACION, has been doing impressive numbers on
SoundCloud since the release over two months ago. Building on that success,
his most recent single, “Back Down”, will be sure to have the streets hot.

Looking ahead, the artist has huge goals for himself in which he works everyday
to achieve. “I would love to really live off music, and take it to the next level. I feel
like I’m doing things on a whole other level. My vibe is so unique because it
touches every genre of hip-hop. I can do anything you ask, so I’m versatile with
my sound,” said the artist. In telling his own story through his lyrics and
discussing life events he’s encountered, he finds his fans can easily relate to him.
After starting his own brand, BM Music Group, he has enjoyed living through the
rapid growth in his career, such as performing at shows for Power 105.1. Tmmyx
is not afraid to put in the work, which is very telling of his impressive career thus
far.

Pop Starlet Ja’Nelle Brown Releases
Newest Single “Say It”

ST. LOUIS, MO – Ja'Nelle Brown is a star who is quickly on the rise. Ever since
she was a little girl, the singer has always had a fervent interest in music. In fact,
watching the hit Disney show Hannah Montana led her even closer to her
musical dreams. She looked up to major pop artists like Britney Spears, after the
singer’s uncle would often show her the pop star’s music videos. It didn’t take
much for her to take the first step, and by the age of eight, she enrolled in a
performing arts summer camp. “I really wanted to perform for my mom without
her knowing,” said the singer. “So when I decided to sing a song by Lady Gaga, I
shocked my mom. She had no idea I could sing at that level!”

Pretty soon, Brown began developing a passion for all aspects of music through
taking both piano and singing lessons. Her genuine love and appreciation for
music continued to grow, and she truly never looked back. As she furthered her
singing career, she began to release her original songs via Spotify and iTunes.
What’s so unique about Brown is how she believes in incorporating a visual
aspect with each record she puts out. After releasing her single “Evolutionary
Love”, she realized how quickly her musical dreams were coming to life through
hard work and consistent dedication.

The talented singer recently released her hit single “Say It”, which is a song for
just about anyone. “The song is saying, ‘I want you to tell me that you love me’.
It’s hard for people to communicate their feelings, especially these days. Things
would be much easier if we all just said how we feel,” said Brown. When it comes
to her sound, Brown is very versatile, and enjoys incorporating a variety of
sounds into her music. Her single “In My Feelings” generates a more Caribbean
feel, while others typically bring forth a “pop” vibe. Basically, whatever Brown
puts her hands-or singing voice- to, is always an instant sensation.

As far as motivation is concerned, Brown owes it all to her mother. “My biggest
motivator is my mother. She has always pushed me to be the best person I can
be. She’s always ready to help with whatever I want to do, and I’m very thankful
for her,” said Brown. Looking ahead, the singer hopes to be in a place where she
is a household name. What’s so refreshing is how her goal is to make people
happy when they listen to her music, while influencing their emotions overall.
Brown is consistently putting forth good energy into the world, and her artistic
craft is living proof of what a rare gem she is in this industry.

Daygo Smoove – Concrete Rose ft(Lorine Chia) | @Daygosmoove

Blog

San Diego native DaygoSmoove reps city, hip-hop genre
with hot new sound

SAN DIEGO, CA – When Kenny Whiteside was growing up in San Diego, California, it was a
regular occurrence for his mother to play music around the house. She would play reggae and
calypso so often that he often knew the lyrics backwards and forwards.

A few years later, while living for a time in New York City, he was introduced to the Wu Tang
Clan and The Fugees. When he heard the song “Bring the Pain,” he knew he wanted to rap. And
shortly after that, while watching music videos from artists like Jay Z and Master P, he started
to dream about what it would be like to create music at a level so extraordinary that one day he
would take the stage to receive awards.

“I wanted to own my own label and tour the world while making good music that people would
live with,” he said. “I would watch those awards shows and see myself winning a Best New
Artist or Best Album award when they would call the names. And today my confidence is what
drives me to do this professionally. Many people may try to knock you off your pivot when
you’re on your way – or even after you’ve achieved success. But I just stay humble, like K Dot
says.”

Today Whiteside is known as DaygoSmoove – a name he adapted as homage to his hometown
of San Diego and his unique sound and style. A self-proclaimed ambassador for the city often
referred to as “Daygo,” Smoove wants to put together a career that he used to dream about as
a young boy. And with each new song, EP and album, he gets once step closer to realizing that
dream.

His latest project is a single called “Concrete Rose.” It’s the first song off a new album that he
hopes to release in the first half of 2018. The name of the song was inspired from the poem
“The Rose That Grew From Concrete” by Tupac Shakur. Smoove said Tupac is his favorite artist,
and he tries to model his work ethic after the hip-hop legend’s. This song, for instance, is the
result of many hours of hard work and craftsmanship.

“it’s about wanting things and knowing you’re not in a position to get them,” Smoove said of
the single. “It’s about working through the setbacks that come with that – the lost time and
money and resources and whatever you sacrifice to get what it is you want to manifest in the
physical. It’s about making a way out of situations in which there seems to be no way out. I
think it’s a chill record and definitely something to ride to.”

Featured on the single is Southern California artist Lorine Chia, who lends her vocal talents on
the hook and is rapidly shooting through the industry with projections to be one of hip-hop’s
hottest new vocalists. Smoove said he was fortunate to be able to collaborate with her, and is
doubly glad to have been part of a process that he said harkens back to the golden years of hip-
hop.

“I respect hip-hop,” he said. “My respect for the ones who paved the way for me means I gotta
do my duty when I’m called upon. When some of the artists I look up to drop a project, it makes
me want to go into the studio and write or just go off the dome. I feel like I’m good enough to
stand with those guys. I know the game is hurting for lyricism, and the void can’t just be filled
by Kendrick or J Cole or Joyner Lucas. We need a vast amount of talented cats who can get busy
on the mic. I want to be part of the movement of new hip-hop artists who help bridge that
gap.”

Boogie Noche – I Got Rythm | @Noche366

Blog, Music, Promo

Boogie Noche combines trap with boom-bap on
new album, ‘Darker Nights’

BROOKLYN, NY – Boogie Noche likes fun music.

His unique trap and “boom-bap” sound combines with a larger-than- life persona in a one-of- a-
kind artist who is lighting up the East Coast with his new music. Though he’s spent more than a
decade in the industry – grinding it out and riding a wave of success – he knows that the launch
of his new album, “Darker Nights,” will put him on the map in ways he’s never before seen.

“Basically we’re all looking for success and sometimes you have to go through rough things to
get there,” he said. “That’s what this album is all about. It’s not always a good night
– sometimes we have darker nights. And this album uses diverse sounds to explore some of
those themes. There are five boom-bap records on it and the rest are trap. And throughout it all
I’m getting lyrical and having fun with the music.”

The main single from the album is a song called “I Got Rhythm.” It’s the perfect example of one
of his “boom-bap” songs, and features a classic 88 Jay-Z sample on it. Boogie Noche said he
turns to a little of a trap beat toward the middle of the song, and the outro also feature a bit of
trap. And at the end of the day it’s one of those songs that people will just love to have fun with
and listen to over and over again.

“It sounds dope,” he said. “I was just flexin flows and putting it on for Brooklyn. It’s one of those
tracks where I’m just going off, and I gotta let you know I got it. And like with all of my music, I
just want people to relate – even those people who aren’t at the same level. We’re all the
same, no matter where we are around the globe. We can all relate on a certain level. But most
especially if you’re down with hip-hop, then we can probably get down together.”

Boogie Noche said that though he loves to have fun, he’s also grounded and can spit with a lot
of different flows while discussing a wide variety of topics. He never wants to stick to the same
formula from record-to- record. That’s why he’s constantly trying new flows and listening to
other sounds within the industry to try to stay at the level that keeps him mainstream, while
still pushing the envelope with creativity.

“And I give them my flavor,” he said of his music. “I’m lyrical and flow-wise I do some
harmonizing and some singing. I’m not a young guy in the game, but that doesn’t mean I can’t
keep up with them. I sound completely different from a lot of people, and I have definitely
developed my own lane. I love commercial, underground, and all angles and aspects of hip-hop.
I dip and dive and try to make what I’m good at and then mix it all together.”
